Matt Rhule was able to turn no ranked wins at Baylor into an NFL HC gig, now no ranked wins at Nebraska and they give him an extension to keep Penn State from poaching him? Why, because he’s good friends with the Penn state AD?

How do football coaches keep failing upward to the tune of tens of millions of dollars? Are there not enough of them that they just keep getting recycled around? College coaching is a cesspool designed to steal money from the universities.

Actually those numbers line up perfectly. Nebraska joined the B1G and breathed a sigh of relief because they were no longer in a conference run by Texas. They were ready to dominate and win championships again. 4 seasons later they were incredulous they had not only not dominated, they had won no championships. So they fired Pelini, because obviously he must be holding them back. The rest is history.
