Wyoming usually plays up tempo, no huddle offense but their coach has chosen to slow this game down and run clock. I don't think that kind of thinking helps your chances to pull off an upset, especially playing at home.

Do what you do, don't try to be something you're not, and live with it.

It's probably a plan to try to help their defense more than their offense. It's not like this is a true Blackshirt defense they're facing at the moment so I doubt they would want to limit their possessions. I think it's more a matter of wanting to keep their defense off the field.

I understand that aspect, but I don't like telling my offense we are going to do something different than what we practiced all summer and used the first 3 games (all wins, albeit versus lesser opponents), no matter the circumstances.

NU's defense hasn't been as badass as years past, so far anyway, which is all the more reason I would stick with what my team does and challenge them. Want to help your own defense? Score some points.
