Neal Shipley (PGA Golf Pro)

[Jagdaddy]

-6 today and in the lead by 1 at -21. Means everything for his career if he can close the deal tomorrow.

Neil shot a 69 today and finished tied for 3rd. Two guys went lower than him by shooting 61s.

A tie for third should give him $295,000. Not a bad week’s work.

Hopefully gives him a big bump in the points as well. Another player that Shipley finished above shot a 60. Those are some low Sunday scores.

Still a great week for him. Moved up from 183 to 135 in the Fed Ex rankings. Needs to finish 125 or higher for conditional tour status next year and 100 or higher for full time tour status. Hope it’s a sign of more good performances to come.

Through two rounds this week, Neal is tied for 7th at -12. Shot a bogey-free -8 63 today with six birdies and an eagle on a driveable par 4. Hit it well enough to go a shot or two lower. The leader is at -17. He’s playing with a lot of confidence.
