Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
Just made the cut at -4. Shot a 69, 67 tied for 49th place; the leader is in at -12 after 2 rounds. At least if he completes the tournament he'll get another paycheck. He has now made the cut in 7 of his last 10 tournaments.

@Jagdaddy had it correct. Shipley is at -4 under after 2 rounds (shot -3 today), putting him at T49 heading into the weekend.
I watched some of Shipley's play last weekend and he is playing pretty well, just not finishing makeable birdie putts as often as he should. From the holes I saw, his putts to save par have been much more steady.

Do you have ESPN+? They have featured hole coverage - just saw him hit the best approach shot on hole #3 so far today, from the best side, and miss the extremely makeable birdie putt once again. This channel features holes 3, 12, 15 & 16 (so there will be a good chance to see him play a few holes later in the round). Last week, there were more featured holes channels, but this is the only one I'm seeing today.

He's tied for 50th place with 7 others, i.e. 69-67-69 = 205 (-5). The two leaders are in at -16. If he doesn't shoot something in the low 60s tomorrow; he's probably destined for yet another payday in the low $20Ks.

Update: Max has been bad the last several weeks and missed several cuts in a row, but, after narrowly making the cut at this week’s tournament in Boise, he shot -6 (65) today and moved up the leaderboard quite a bit. He’ll drop back a fair amount as the guys teeing off later score well, but it’s good to see him have a strong round and I hope he can back it up with another one tomorrow and get some momentum going.
