Hey now, he?d be ok if he had taken over a Ron Zook team instead.MaxBuck;966562; said:Because they mistakenly believed they could get a better coach. Clearly, Tim Brewster isn't it.
When I saw the score go by I just looked at the screen with an angry expression on my face until a friend said "what, we're playing well""to which I replied "Minnesota wasn't" he said "what'. I didn't reply until the score came back around and he started laughing, I just looked at him, dead pan and said "yeah, like we didn't already look bad enough" he shut-up after that.
This crap isn't funny, the more Big Ten teams that lose games like this the more justified people are going to feel about saying we suck. I want Ohio State to be in a conference that is on top of its game athletically and academically. I don't want to be the king of the patsies and get ripped every time we have a let down in a bowl game because our conference is looking like road kill let out in the rain for multiple days.
Brewster needs to prove he can make the spread work at Minnesota, give him a few years, he doesn't have the athletes yet. They need to get that new stadium built and look like a program that's worth something and not the Vikings little stepbrother no one cares about.
JoePa needs to leave Penn State, sure he built the program, leave before the next guy has nothing to work with.
Ferentz had to suspend a bunch of players, he's a good coach though they'll be back.
Let Zook stock Illinois, then let them fire him and hire Whittingham so he can do something with them.
I'm still hoping Dantonio will get Michigan State back on track.
I hadn't been sold on Bielema yet, I'm still not but he has Alvarez behind him so there's hope.
Hoeppner was doing good things with Indiana here's hoping that continues.
I also thing Tiller could stand to step down from Purdue, he's done well, but needs to let someone else take that program to the next level.
