It's been a great weekend of roundball so far. And it's not even Sunday yet! ND lost, Michigan still sucks (and lost)- how 'bout those Bobcats from OU!!! Bucks looked decent and won. Oh-Duke sucks. Everyone in the Big 10 won, and normally I'd even like to see TSUN win too, but they've been calling OSU "Ohio" in a disrespect attempt, and OU felt slighted also. I was glad to see the real "Ohio" take it to them this year. Hopefully, the Bucks get a game w/those fightin' Bearcats next weekend. Another one w/Wiscy would be nice too . Looks like we're in the easiest bracket, although 'Cuse looks strong w/o Melo.
I have no prob. w/Hoke (and now their basketball coach) referring to OSU as "Ohio", it reminds me of back in the day. The radio announcers in the '70's always referred to us that way. The band spells it in their most famous formation w/script Ohio. It's what's on the drums. Our stadium is Ohio Stadium. The cheerleaders have four flags they run across the field, they don't spell OSU. One of the most popular things is four of us using our arms (or whatever might be handy) to spell out Ohio. I'm not even sure Brady meant it in a jabbing way when he started saying it, but w/half the Buckeye nation irritated w/it, I'm sure he'll roll w/that. He's kinda old school (and he knows his Buckeye history, he grew up in Kettering), he probably heard what I heard a lot-we called ourselves "Ohio" a lot back in the day. Even the big drinking song refers to us as Ohio. But I'm also very partial to OU, having spent much time on the main campus in Athens, a bro being an alumnus, and live here in Lancaster w/one of the branch campuses very close by, and I know they don't like to hear OSU referred to as Ohio.

I think I might enjoy OU smashing scUM's dreams more than OSU's win today? Does that make me a bad fan?!!
