Ok, I can understand that. I wouldn't want somebody running the same exact play over and over on me. It makes it unrealistic.

What team does that? Other than Ohio State in the 2nd half of every game they're winning at halftime.

He didn't know, honestly. I invited him to this league because its fun, competitive, and ongoing. He wouldn't do anything to tarnish this league and you know me well enough fanatic that I wouldn't bring that type of person to this league. My apology....

my bad won't let it happen again. If u can I will just take it as a loss if its not to late... I wish u would have sent me a message during the begging of the game would have change it up, but don't no how good it would have done cuz I didn't c the one fanatic sent me till the end. Just to get it clear can I not use 5 wide and trips the whole game, even for a couple plays here and there? And I can't have me star wide in the slots?

I do. Blame does not rest at your feet. The one major difference between OSUand she had, is OSU is running Power-O :biggrin:

You can run five-wide, you can run trips, and you can line your receiver up wherever you want as long as he's a receiver on your depth chart. What you can't do is run the same money plays over and over again. If your best play is trips left/send 'em all (which it is, and we all know Ohio State's playbook, so we all know how easy the play is to complete), and you want to run it every now and then, knock yourself out. It's not a 100% working play. It is, however, a 100% working play if run every freaking play. Cheese all you want against the CPU, but not against other players. If you know you're exploiting a screw up in the AI, don't do it. I like the play. I lined up trips to one side against you a few times, but it was mixed up. I don't think I called the same play three times the whole game, unless you call the Power O out of different formations the same play.

You can use 5 wides and player positioning. The issue really boils down to playing a realistic game. We don't measure % of run plays or anything, but when it's non stop money plays; to steal smooth's verbiage; that's where the issue is. I run 5 wides, but only in certain points and I won't call the same route package consecutively. even when its working (specifically for this reason).

Smooth and shehad, what do you guys want me to do. Throw the score out and then have you guys replay, sim, set to auto?

Hey come on give me some credit it wasn't the same play over and over lol I still won by a touchdown, took down the number 2 team being un-ranked team, at there place even tho it didn't count lol. But my bad Taylor won't let it happen again. So do we play again or u just get the win, or u want to give the noobie one lol

Give him the win and let's move on. Hopefully it doesn't happen again. And don't talk too much smack for winning using exploits. Whoopee do, you can complete a pass to the slot every now and then.

Brandon McNamara: 14 catches, 273 yards, 2 TDs. All this from the same two formations.

Wow, came here to post sorry I didn't make the game tonight and came across this bomb. Btw, Moore I'll be around tomorrow after 9.

Regarding cheesing, Olaf has it pretty much nailed. Anyone can run 5 wide and throw for 8,000 yards a season (*cough*89*coughcough*) if they don't mind taking the fun and spirit out of the game by running 3 or 4 plays and turning their brain off. Challenge yourself to play a more realistic brand of football. Sure teams run 5 wide in real life, but then again, they don't have retarded AI to play against.

I try to avoid 5 wide verticals and a couple other money plays most of the time. I do run a couple 5 wide sets in a game, but it's rarely one of those plays.

Hell, I've run every type of playbook in this game, seemingly change it every season just to keep things interesting. I ran the spread and was pass happy, the run-n-shoot briefly (hated it), multiple, option, pro-style, and this season I'm taking on the pistol for the first time just for the hell of it. Ever since I went away from passing it 75% of the time I've had a lot more fun. Just don't take it too seriously and have some fun with it.
