NCAA2011 (PS3) 3rd Annual BP Online Dynasty

Actually, I might have to sim. :(

Friday was already out, and I'm gonna have family business tomorrow that I can't push back.

Question: If I'm gonna sim a game, do I have to do anything? Do I have to go on auto-pilot or just leave it alone?

I'm on Auto now - DA, have your way with them.

I have good enough players at key positions when I'm at the controls, but on the whole my roster is weak and thin thanks to two straight seasons of 20+ departures. I'm sure plungers will be involved early and often in this one.

jesus, JLB your team almost won.

The computer wanted to see your team win very badly. I had 6 turnovers, 0 from bad decisions. I knew the game was going to be more difficult than I wanted when I threw a pass to a wide open receiver only to have him fumble the ball at the 5 yard line.

The computer converted just about every third down, no matter the distance or the defense I called. My safeties would bounce off your backs and they would break another tackle for a 1st down. The QB would throw a high wobbly pass while being hit, sure enough 20 yard first down.

I muffed a punt return late in the 3rd quarter. My QB, who may be benched for my lower rated pocket QB overthrew just about every ball down the middle. The only thing he's got going for him is wheels. Without looking at the statline, I guarantee he threw for about 40%, 0 TDs, and 3 Ints.

Then there was the fumble on the 3 yard line that went for a TD to put you up in the 3rd quarter. I think I scored on a long pass with my backup QB with about 1:30 minutes left to go up and then scored a garbage TD with about 10 seconds from the 1. On Maryland's last 2 possessions I had something like 4-5 sacks as the QB was looking to go deep. That was the highlight of the game for me.

This was an ugly ugly game and it was not fun to play. I had 6 TOs to your 1. I held the ball for 10 minutes to your 17. I felt relieved with the W.

Wow. My RBs & FBs are actually decent, so I'm not surprised to hear they were bouncing off of guys. My O-line is razor thin - I barely have a two-deep and I'm starting true freshmen. I'm very surprised about the passes and 3rd downs - seeing as how my QB sails everything when I control him and the ones that do find the target get dropped.

Looking at the box score, I'm disappointed with the run-pass mix after the settings I entered last night. I set it to run-run-run. I'm not afraid to go 5-deep at RB with this team and I wanted them to chew some clock. Oh well, I wasn't confident when I thought I might be able to get the game in myself, and even less so when I found out I'd have to sim.
