Fanatic, if you see the pink diamond (ruby) it means he has hidden interest in your program. It only occurs on 4 and 5 stars who currently don't show interest in your program (not in the top 10). When you add them they'll be in your top 10 on your recruiting screen.

I looked it up a couple seasons ago after I saw it a few times.

Don't get excited I've never even come close to landing one in either league or in my offline dynasty (which I don't play anymore).
