Want to shoot for the same time Thursday?

Sorry about that. The tornado sirens only went off until 8:30, but the massive lightning storm lasted quite a bit longer. So I just left all of my more valuable electronics unplugged, and watched TV on the shitty TV in the bedroom.

Tonight at 8:30 should work out just fine.

you can keep me on auto until next Monday. does anybody know if the computer actually recruits when you're on auto? this is the first year i have legit players interested in Syracuse without improper phone calls and texts at all hours of the night.

Yes, if you set it up for the cpu to do that. Of the three categories that you can turn on, I would only turn on the one that allows the cpu to setup visits. That way it will only call or setup visits with the recruits that are already on your board. If you let the cpu add and remove players from your board, or if you let the cpu offer scholarships, then it will change your board to something unrecognizable, and likely fill it with a lot of low rated players.

BN27,

Score got a little out of hand, but I simmed it the rest of the second after my tailback broke one for 77 (about 5 min to go in 3rd). Other then that play, most of scores were real short. Not much offense for your team. I think it ended up like 69 - 21, but four of my touchdowns came after I simmed....

Sorry again Olaf. Thanks for going on Autopilot.

Olaf and I restarted our game tonight. I went ahead 7-0 by returning the opening kick for a TD. Olaf got a couple of first downs on his first possesion and then threw a pick. I scored two plays later on an option play where the QB kept the ball. 14-0 UK.

Olaf threw another pick after getting a few more first downs. I had a longer drive and even threw and completed some passes before I ran an option and pitched to my halfback for another TD. 21-0 UK at the end of the 1st quarter.

After Olaf converted a 4th and 1 (legit 4th down attempt, IMO) he hit a big play to make it to the 1 yard line, and punched it in one play later. 21-7 UK, early in the 2nd quarter.

I drove the ball down to about the 15 yard line, mostly running option, and that's when the internet stopped working. My wife said that there were crews down the block when she was coming home, but I never actually saw any problem with my modem or router, I just couldn't connect to the internet for 3 or 4 minutes, on the PS3 or on my PC.

Once I got reconnected, Olaf was kind enough to not make me try to reproduce the incredible start that I had to that game, and just put himself on autopilot.

UK won the replay against the cpu 37-14. I tried not to make it a blowout, but it was raining and Army's runningbacks fumbled 2 or 3 times.

I shit you not, this was my thought during the opening kick-off. "Shit, I forgot to change my playbook. I'll ask Iron to restart the game once I tackle him...oh, shit. So much for that." It wouldn't have mattered. It wasn't my strategy that was the problem. I would have thrown those picks no matter whose playbook I had. It was just a bad omen.
