Speaking of recruiting, any idea why my TV Exposure rating is still a D when other TeamBuilder teams have had their ratings improve? aTm is a B or a B+. I would think that back to back ACC Championships and BCS wins would improve it somewhat.

Well, I do lose 2 or 3 Senior RBs. So I kinda need to recruit a few for depth purposes :biggrin: But I was nice and changed my visit so you had a fair chance to grab the guy you and I are after. (After saying that I am sure whobe will sneak in and steal him)

No clue about the TV rating thing. I still think it is broken like in NCAA09

What does it mean to be a teambuilder team? I know you could create teams this year in the game, but actual teams can be teambuilder teams too?

Yeah, we had a league in 2009 that we kept the teams from the previous year. We created our players from the previous teams. VERY time consuming. The advantage was the teams had better recruits from the previous year, but the disadvantage was the rankings did not translate, defensively, very well. Our offenses last year were dominate by speed everywhere and that was negated this year. The DL didn't transfer well at all.

Pretty much what Fanatic said. Taking over a 1* program like Army and building them up is fun, but it takes more than four seasons. By creating my team from 09 (I think it was Year 4 of the dynasty) into TeamBuilder, I was able to continue the process. I think it's pretty neat. There are some disadvantages though. In 09, I recruited speed, speed, and more speed. I'd bypass a 4* receiver with 90 SPD for a 1* receiver with 97 SPD. It was the only attribute that mattered in 09. It doesn't mean dick in 10. My team is now loaded with fast guys who can't do a damn thing. I cut a few of them already. Another disadvantage is that the TeamBuilder process killed my defense. I still haven't really recovered from it. I have some good young guys, but it's going to take another season or two before my defense isn't a liability.

Funny, last year I would look at the opposing team's SPD rating and that was it. Once I knew where the slow people were, that's where I tried to run or pass. This year, attributes are much more useful; though I would argue that SPD is undervalued, especially with 90+ RB's getting run down in the backfield consistently by DL regardless of SPD, but that is better than overvalue I suppose.

In '09 I moved a HB with 90 SPD to DE and he was immediately (FR) an 86. Then the transition to '10, he is just now in the middle 80's and still with 90 SPD as a Senior.

All in all, I have been happier with the gameplay in this year's version. EA glitches, keys, and servers on the other hand...

Tuesday should work. Last night the servers began acting really crazy, big surprise there. I downloaded the dynasty and kept getting the disconnected from server error.
