Talking about connections issues....has anyone else had trouble when entering the dynasty? I have gotten stuck at authorizing school logos/downloading team info/updating last login....every single time that last few weeks. I have also had to delete the previous file, they do not recognize the advance. Its a real pain in the ass.

This game and dynasty thing sounds very interesting. I wish I had a PS3.
So how does this work? You folks have a community on the internet within the game where you can all monitor each others' progress with these teams and play against each other when the schedules match up?

Most of it is built within the game. You can check on the other teams/players via a menu within the game on your PS3/XBOX. Technically we really don't need this thread or use this community. But, this is how we all found each other and having this thread (and the other dynasty threads) adds a little something to the dynasty allowing better communication and debate. Just to put this in its own post, I will be advancing tonight to Week 6 as soon as I get home (around 7pm)
Looking at the schedule, we have only one human game between now and Week 10 (UCLA v BYU, me and fanatic shouldn't have problems getting our game in quickly) so I can see us picking up the pace over the next 4 weeks of advancements.
So just giving everyone a heads up that we should be advancing quickly so try to keep up everyone.

My stud starting Frosh RB that was the #1 overall recruit broke his back and is out for the season... and that was in Week 1 or 2.
