I just got back into the states. Should be back in Chicago around 11. I would love to get on the ps3 and do some recruiting, but I am unsure how the wife will feel about that. Hopefully she cuts me some slack. Sitting in the 90 degree weather and staring out at the pacific all day gets pretty boring. I need my ps3. If I don't get on tonight I will get my stuff done in the am.

Fanatic do I need to accept an invite for the other league?

Crazy game. Thought it was over when you stopped me on 4th and 1 in your red zone, and then scored immediately to take a 28 - 7 lead at halftime. I couldn't stop that ridiculously fast WR and HB of yours (let alone your entire offense). Thanks to some luck and mistake free, smart football (love that blog) I was able to hang on long enough for the win.

Great game, Fanatic. I always enjoy playing you, and know it'll be a tough game. What's our record now against each other--even I'd imagine?

You have time, still in week 2, just waiting on basebuck and BN's game. The earliest we would advance is tomorrow early evening

yes. good first half, base. I just don't understand why you people feel the need to keep running the score up when I'm just trying to get to bed. If your opponent is running into the line 3 straight times and punting, why are you running pitches, sweeps, and options with your RBs who aren't allowed to be tackled?


edit: and thanks for running it up to 70-10. That's all class, all the way.

Sorry about the score thing. I didnt play most of the second half. The baby woke up about midway through the 3rd quarter so I went in the other room to feed him and handed over the controller to my 9 year old. I told him to only run. I wasnt specific about what kind of runs. He told me he started throwing after he was playing the computer.

Again, not an intentional thing. I would have turned on "kill the clock" early in the second half.

What did you say to him? He said that he was saw some messages pop up but he didnt read them thank God. Would have been hillarious if you and my 9 year old were sending pissed off messages back and fourth.

I probably should have warned you
