[censored]ing South Florida of course turns into super team at home
they get 2 tipped INTs in the red zone
Selve hits griffin with 40 seconds left, he fumbles, my olinemen picks it up and they strip it away from him, USF recovers, they score a TD and win
2 double fumbles in this game....ridiculous, the other time griffin got sacked, fumbled, my HB picked it up, then he fumbled and USF recovered it
and of course when I tip the ball or hit the QB as he throws, either my guy drops it or it falls harmlessly to the ground
I almost wanted to quit the game and restart because of this bull[censored]

For the love of god! Why didn't anyone already warn us in over a dozen posts in both planning threads that this would happen?Smooth Olaf;1522636; said:Those of us using TeamBuilder teams may have a serious problem. I was taking a look at Army's coaching career and it says my record vs. rivals is 0-0. It's actually 1-0. Army's rival is North Carolina and I won that game. If any of us using a TB team promises a recruit a winning record vs. rivals, we're screwed.
I actually told Olaf where it was. We discussed the turbo button at length, and how best to use it. Then he forgot, and discovered the turbo button a couple of months later.jwinslow;1522648; said:I'm still not convinced all of you know where the turbo button is...
Did you? Seriously? Heh...I wasn't paying attention. Either that or I just forgot.IronBuckI;1522642; said:For the love of god! Why didn't anyone already warn us in over a dozen posts in both planning threads that this would happen?
You took part in the conversation, so I'm guessing that you forgot. I understand though. Forgetting stuff can happen when you're trying to move your family to Canada. :tongue2:Smooth Olaf;1522657; said:Did you? Seriously? Heh...I wasn't paying attention. Either that or I just forgot.
IronBuckI;1500712; said:I'm still keeping Kentucky, but everyone that is using created teams should know one thing.
I just ran through a bunch of sims using created teams, and the "Record Vs. Rivals" under the Coach Career window remains at 0-0. I had UCLA playing USC in the Pac-10. "Record Vs. Rivals" 0-0. I had Army playing as an independent with Air Force and Navy on the schedule "Record Vs. Rivals" 0-0. I had UCLA playing in the Big East in place of UC with Miami Oh listed as their rival, and with Miami Oh on the schedule, "Record Vs. Rivals" 0-0.
I don't know how this will affect in-season recruiting. It could be that scheduling recruit visits for what looks like a rivalry game will have the same effect as it always did, or it could be exactly like scheduling a recruit for a normal home game. What I do know is that promising "Winning record against rivals first year on campus" results in a broken promise and a hit to your coach integrity.
Smooth Olaf;1500762; said:Well, that sucks. Does having a 50-50 record against rivals count as breaking that promise?
IronBuckI;1500767; said:Yes. I ran the sim through the end of season 2. I promised three Army recruits a winning record vs. rivals. I simmed the following season, and the promise came up as "broken" after logging a 0-0 record vs. rivals.
It also looks like transfers might still be out of control. None of the three players that I made promises to wanted to transfer, but 2 freshman and a sophomore did want to transfer.
