Calmer than you are.
There is a progressive fatigue in this year's game. Meaning that players get more tired as the game goes on. Sitting on the sidelines for an offensive 3 and out will no longer give a tired defense 100% energy. They'll still be tired when they come back onto the field.Smooth Olaf;1517919; said:There's a glitch in this game that is really almost making it unplayable for me. It's the case of the disappearing running back. It works like this. Your starting running back will disappear in the fourth quarter. As in, he's no longer in the game. He's not hurt. He's still #1 on the depth chart. But wouldn't you know it, he's gone. Poof.
It's not like I want my best player in the fourth quarter of a close game or anything.
If you have the default auto subs, and your guy subs out at 60% late in the game, then he never gets back to 80% by the end of the game. The best sub package that I've been able to find is to have my runningbacks and defensive line set to sub out at 89 and back in at 90. That leaves my starter in for the first several plays, and puts my second stringer in about every 3-5 plays after that, depending on the stamina of my starter, and how tough of a run he just had. Also depending on the stamina of the player, you can't have the sub out any higher than 89. I always had my sub out/in set at 99/100 in NCAA '09. I tried that when this game first came out and I would lose my top three runningbacks and most of my defensive line by the end of the third quarter, because after a certain number of plays, they'll never reach 100% energy for the rest of the game.
I typically have my positions set to whatever my depth chart will allow. Runningbacks, receivers, FB/TE, DT, DE, and LB are all set to 89/90. QB is set to 70/80, but the game has never taken out my QB because of fatigue, I've always had to sub him out. OL, CB, and Safeties are all set to 80/90.
I haven't lost a single player late in the game since I set my auto subs to these settings, and I get a fairly realistic rotation of players.
I imagine that having everyone set to 84/85, 85/90, 75/80, etc. works too...just don't have your out and in more than 10 points apart. Otherwise, I don't know if you'll lose the guy for long stretches or not.
