I made a big mistake on my next drive.. I decided to go into a hurry-up offense so I could get on the other side of the 50 before burning my TOs. For whatever reason, Kordell gets tired as hell after a couple plays - I wonder if it has to do with how many carries he's had on the season? - I had 2 or 3 consecutive first downs, the next play I ran towards the sideline where he was stripped with under a minute :(

He was playing with pretty poor talent. It was apparent. He lost his first 2 HB's for significant portions of the game, and my defense was able to play man very effectively against his personnel. My defense is real slow, so its kind of hard to put this one on Sparky, when the talent on his team isnt quite there, yet.

Thanks for the help... yeah, I lost my #1 rb for quarters 2 and 3 and my #2 rb for the second half. AF is weak injury wise, shit even my kicker has been out since the 3rd week for the rest of the year.fanaticbuckeye;1257103; said:

I cant wait for another couple year so I can take my team from the 69 on O and the 64 D so I can be competitve, lets sim until the off season

A key injury to a good player and he is replaced with a 60 or below rated player that is slow as shit. Luckily I haven't lost anyone significant for longer than a quarter. Ya just have to pray you can bring in a full class of 25 in recruiting so you can cut the dead weight.

Calmer than you are.
I was actually going to implement a 1 week per 2 days(possibly excluding weekends) for post-season recruiting in the MAC Dynasty. Everyone's had an entire season to know what their targets want and don't want, so ther's no reason that everyone can't get in 10 hours of recruiting, or at least make sure that they are set to auto recruit during the offseason.buckeyemania11;1257247; said:

First off the first couple of items (players leaving & transfering) will probable be simmed really quick. There is a bug in online dynasty that you can't persuade guys that want to leave early to stay. So any underclassman that leaves or transfers they are gone for good. So there isn't anything people can do. So it is more for info purposes.
The plan for that (my initial thought) is I will write down all the early entrants and transfers down and post him here in case you don't realize they left.
Now the 5 weeks of recruiting will be interesting. In theory it should go fast. All you have to do is schedule visits and do last minute tweaking of guys. So really it should only be 15-30 minutes of 'work'. So really as long as you can log on to your PS3 every night for 15 minutes or so I see no reason it would take longer than 1-2 days per 'week'. Of course that gets thrown out the window if someone is out of town for a few days.
Then after that it goes to position changes. Probable another day thing cuz most likely if you recruited an athlete you have to use this. Then it goes to training results. Which I will sim quickly. Do people really care to see that their 3rd WR improved 6 pts? You'll get to see the end results when you work depth charts and cut players.
Then the last step will be 'cut players'. Another one day thing as I am sure we don't want the computer to pick the players to get the ax. Then off to preseason stuff when I have fun with schedules and everyone redshirts guys, fix depth charts & decide who they will be recruiting.
Here is my view... the 5 weeks of recruiting weeks with visits are important for everyone. I would hate to sim someone's week there. Position changes is another important step (for those that need it). Then probable another important point is cutting players. Cuz if it is simmed I think they just cut the lowest rated players. But sometimes that isn't a good thing as maybe you have 10 WRs and wanted to cut 2-3 of them but instead your 2nd string OT gets cut instead.
So conservatively it could take 2-3 weeks depending on people's schedules and how many people are unavailable for a few days. So hopefully our offseason falls on a good week for everyone.

Ok, got my recruiting done last night but just couldn't attempt to get the game in. I am at work right now, so when I get home I should be playing my game. Which means we should advance by 5-6pm tonight before the USC game.
