You can tell that I'm not a real coach, because I am already looking past Are-kansas to Florida.
Idiot. I ended up squeaking one out against Are-kansas 31-24. They returned a fumble for a TD on my first posession, held me to a FG on my second and scored immediately on 'O' to put me down 14-3. That's when I decided that trying to play my backup QB to prevent my starter from getting hurt before the Florida game was a bad idea. It still took some very stupid time management, on the hogs part, for me to win. 54 seconds left in the game to start their final drive, and they only used one of their three timeouts...and I stopped them inbounds alot...and they only ran one play out of the hurry-up.

I played my game last night vs UNLV. The patch seems to have made pretty big difference. Kickoff coverage is better. QB efficiency is better. Computer AI is much better. They 'sustained' drive after drive on me throughout the whole game (2 or 3 first downs per drive). Granted most of the time they would punt from around the 50, turnover or kick a field goal; only gave up one TD. Nonetheless, the first 6 or 7 games against the computer, they would drive the first few possessions and then 3 and outs were the norm. More of the playbook seemed to be used and the QB play is all around better.

I say that having only played one game, so it may be a little skued, but it was my observation last night.

Currently downloading the second patch.

I think this is the patch that addresses the CPU sliders(among other things). So be warned that the CPU might have sliders set back to 50 across the board.

Good thing I had set both the CPU & Human sliders to the same values. So the CPU sliders are not set to 50. So we still have the same 'sliders'

Plus I double checked before I advanced the week so the sliders are good for human and cpu

We will have to test some new sliders soon. The goal is to put in the new set of sliders during the offseason.

Good. I know the 360 guys were a little surprised when they started playing against the old sliders. Way to stay ahead of the game.

Whats the schedule on advancing weeks? I thought it was Sunday's and Wed's?

The schedule will be Sunday and Thursday. BUT if we advance early I will not hold to that schedule. ie I was able to advance the week on Saturday. Kinda unrealistic to also advance the week on Sunday. But if by Thursday we haven't advanced yet, we will.

Florida is weak. Tebow reminds me of Steve Bellisari. Runs around (slowly) alot and throws picks. I did give up yet another late touchdown with my second team though. I hate making games look closer than they really were.
