Ok, I was able to delay my ass kicking until about 30 seconds left in the 1st half when I should have taken a knee to get to halftime to be down only 4 and me getting possesion to start the 2nd half.

But no, I was a dumb ass and a 60 yard pick 6 later turned to a two possesion game. While I did score on my first possession in the 2nd half, I made WAY too many mistakes in the 2nd half to keep up.

Still pissed on one pick 6. When I hit 'X' to snap the ball I must have double clicked it, or held on too long as my QB passed it right after the snap to a MSU defender who happily returned it for a TD. Throw in my redzone ints and some badly timed defensive calls and the 2nd half became a laugher really quick.

But we are in Week 3, the sliders were brought back a little to what Iron gave me (they should be exact to what you told me Iron) And speaking of that... Iron, when you want to play? Friday night after the Cavs game cool?

NOW I can take the blame for the sliders. :tongue2:

I think that Friday night will work. It's been a long week at work for me and my GF. So if we end up going out Friday, I'll let you know.

UK has jumped from #4 to #1. :groove2:

#2 Ohio State has managed to dodge both MSU and Army this season.
#3 USC doesn't play any human opponents either.
#6 TAMU is the next highest human controlled team.
#9 BYU is the only other team in the top ten.

Somehow Andre Austin of SMU has managed to stay on the Heisman watch list. Despite 5 Rec for 19 yards against MSU and Rec TDs for the season. However, Roderick Shelton has managed to fall off of the list despite 170 rushing yards 2 TDs, and 74 receiving yards 1 TD against the #1 team in the country. Methinks that something is amiss. :wink2:

Good game, Mania. I thought I had that second onside kick. Tell me you weren't cussing just a little when the ball took that high bounce.

Having a 92 SPD ROLB must be nice. Even when I shifted my line towards him (which was every pass play), I still got sacked.

Also, did you have any problems with your controller on defense? I couldn't select a play for a little bit at the end of the third quarter and the beginning of the fourth. You would choose yours, the screen would tell me what personnel were coming, but I couldn't do anything but watch the timer count down to :00. I had to audible my defense for three plays. It fixed itself when I paused the game and PM'd you the problem.

no I didnt have have any problems calling plays on defense

after I made that bonehead option pitch I thought you were going to comeback and win, and yes I was thinking "fuck" on that onside kick

I've had this and similar controller problems several times. I thought that it might have been the controller that came with the PS3, so I went and bought a Dual Shock 3, but it does the same damn thing. I'm glad I bought the new controller, because it actually has some weight to it, and I like using it more, but I'm pissed that shit like that keeps happening. It usually freezes up my 'X' button. There have been several times that I couldn't snap the ball, and had to call timeout or pause the game. It also happens a lot when I end up taking a sack, and I'm pounding on the receiver button, screaming at the game. THROW THE FUCKING BALL!!!

It's very frustrating.
