Nothing you can do about guys getting faster. But I am taking note of everyone's roster before we move to position changes to make sure anything like that came from training.


And yeah, got the FS. A 78 rated FS with 94/95 speed. Throw in my SS with 95 speed and I am pretty sure they can cover the deep ball now Heck, I am wondering what their CB rating will be

But I finally got some DB speed so I can cut any DB that does not have 90 speed or better.

I should finally have a competitive team next season. I would say 'no excuses' but I play Iron, Buchtel, 'Mania & Wood next season. That is a really tough human schedule to navigate. And makes me even more pissed I didn't make sure Shelton left for the NFL

Oh yeah, speaking of next season. With Army's move to the Big 10 that gives Buchtel another human game. Buchtel, you cool with 5 human games? I got the schedules set for the next 3 seasons which should cover us til 2010 comes out. So it would be a real pain to cut Buchtel down to 3 human non-conference games. So Buchtel, you cool with that?

EDIT - This doesn't affect Army cuz they were already scheduled to have 3 human games a season so they can play the Army v Navy game. So with their move to the Big 10 they will have 4 human games.

I'm having a hard time with this. I have a CB who is rated in the 90's with like 88 overall speed. It's hard to cut him because he picks off everything that is not a deep ball. I think I'll use him against the computer and sub for human games.

Brutal schedule. No way anyone gets through that without a loss.

I checked and it isn't. However, Ohio State isn't on Army's schedule. That takes away a chance at a really good win for me. On the flip-side, I probably wouldn't win that game, anyway.

Yeah that's fine. I would like to play A&M, Okie St., and Kentucky....but I know that's a stretch. I have a vendetta against all 3 of thos3 teams. A&M because Jordan is a prima donna bitch who doesn't sign autographs for kids. Okie St because they recruit so dirty and the NCAA won't do anything about it. Kentucky because they keep whoopin' my ass....and Shelton's on roids.

I'm worried about playing you this year again. I lost a lot off my team. I kept the key names but I have to replace some key players with younger guys. What's Kentucky got coming back?

Everything but my starting Center, starting RG and starting WRs. New offense though. Hard to tell if the option will work. If it doesn't work with this personnel, then I am incapable of running the triple option as a base offense. I'm going to go with it all year though...I have to know.

4 strong DTs. 6 solid DEs. Defensive line rotation is going to be tricky to work out. I'm going to try the 99 out, 100 in sub patterns for the ends, and do a lot of formational D-line subs too. I may have to go to a 4-2-5 though, due to lack of depth at LB, and the strength size and speed of my top two SSs and FSs. The #1 overall recruit that I landed is a 90 rated true freshman FS with 94 spd. Corners are ok. I could probably run any combination of my top 5 corners out there and not have any difference in performance.

Shelton is fast, but people should know the name Alexander. 5'11" 240+lbs HB w/94 spd. I recruited him as an ATH two seasons ago for the sole purpose of moving him to FB and running the flexbone. Changed my mind, and moved him from ATH to HB instead. I am very glad that I moved him to HB. It wasn't long after that that the FB/TE rules were in writing. He's still going to be a beast though.

Dang... Buchtel should be undefeated and in the NCG again with that schedule. Unless my ponies are ready to run again MSU.
