Eh ya, but I get absolutely zero blocking, I have to start 3 freshman lineman with no backups, so even though I have a ton of talent at WR, QB, and even RB to an extent, I just have no push up front to be able to use that talent to its fullest.

Defensively, again I think my biggest weakness is up front with the dline, they go zero push and I get no pressure on the opposing teams. I have a fair amount of speed finally at LB and in the defensive backfield, but eventually WR's will find holes in my zones or just plain break away from my man coverage, and it's all because I can't even put the slightest pressure on the QB at any point in the game.

Shit, maybe moving to the SEC was a dumb idea, I feel like I'm going to get torn up. I have a 67 overall team going against mostly 80's to 90's ranked teams... I should have waited for an ACC bid.

Regarding putting Buchtel on autopilot...

Whobe, would you be able to play the game Friday night?

This is my thought process. Fanatic and I won't be able to get our game in til Friday night (He comes in late tonight & my wife is sick so I am taking care of her) So it isn't like we are waiting on buchtel to advance the league. And especially since he said there was a chance he might be back on Friday.

So, as long as whobe can play Friday night my plan is as follows. Hopefully buchtel chimes in saying he is good to go for Friday night and whobe v buchtel can play. I am sure buchtel would want to kick someone's ass :wink2:

If we don't hear from buchtel on Friday, I will put him on autopilot Friday evening so we can advance after whobe gets his game in.

If anyone objects to this, let me know.

Good game last night. Hopefully we can get our Big 10 game in soon. I was just too tired to do back to back games last night.


UK won the game 35-27. Back and forth most of the way. UK drove it down CU's throats on the first drive of the game only to have the QB sneak stuffed on a 4th and goal from the 1 yardline. UK still got the result they wanted out of the drive as it pinned CU on the 1 and three plays later scored on a pick 6 by my RS Freshman CB. 7-0 UK

CU has one hell of a running game. My DTs couldn't get off of their blocks early in the game and he ran it right at me. Neither one of us could pass worth a shit against the other. Luckily, I keep a pretty healthy rotation of bodies in the game, and was able to figure his 'O' out by the end of the game, without wearing out my defense. Halftime score was CU 10 - UK 7. With CUs FG coming on a 54 yard FG from the right hashmark, that I successfully froze the kicker at the end of half. Hell of a kick...would have been good from 60.

CU was up 17-7 at one point and 24-14 for about seven seconds as Roderick Shelton busted the KO return up the middle and went untouched to the endzone to make it 24-21

It was all UK from there, as Shelton had grabbed the momentum back, and the home crowd in Lexington fired up the 'D' to make the crucial stops late in the game.

Your constitution toward reading the speed of my #3 TE is weak. :biggrin:

BTW, just so everyone knows. "Team X" did not have a 90+ speed WR as their #3 TE. However their third best TE is a 91 spd WR...just not the guy that "Team X" had on their depth chart.

Like I told Piney. If "Team X" had done that, then "Team X"s coach would have had to punch himself in the face, after what happened with Bleed. :tongue2:

Piney, I wasnt even aware that I had a 90+ speed HB as my #2 FB, I think the computer just set it like that because I only have 1 FB, I always had my #1 true FB in the game and never subbed in the backup to exploit the game, ill throw someone else in there on my depth chart though
