How can I look at my depth chart to see where this kid is listed? I don't keep 14 spreadsheets during the season.

He was your backup FS. But he was your highest rated FS (the starter was a 79 vs this guy being an 80) and also your 'fastest' at 87 spd.

Now that Fanatic has chimed in I plan on finishing the players leaving and advance into post season recruiting Week 1 tonight. Don't feel rushed to get your stuff done, cuz we will have to wait til Fanatic gets back on Wednesday? (or is it Thursday?)

But once Fanatic is back home, we will advance nightly.

Since I had to make sure I got my stuff done in Iron's dynasty. Only had time to do a handful of the players leaving last night. Will get them tonight and will send out the invites.

well I put a little bit of trust in the game to put people highly ranked ahead of people who are lower ranked. I only make changes to PR/KR and if I have a freshman RB or WR that I promised starting time to.

He probably started the year rated equal to or lower than your starter and progressed as the season went along. It happens all the time. You have to check your depth chart on a regular basis to make sure your best players are starting.

And sometimes your 'best' players are not rated higher than another play. :wink2:

Perfect example is at HB. Who would you rather have as your HB? The 84 overall rated guy with 88 speed, or the 79 overall rated guy with 95 speed?

My best cornerback is my worst rated cornerback. I moved Winston Guy from FS to CB at the beginning of last season because at 6'1" 205 he made a better big corner than an undersized FS. He has 93 spd, good AGI, ACC, and JMP, but lousy AWR at corner. The problem with his AWR is that he had much better pursuit, recognition, man coverage, zone coverage, tackling, and jumping, than the rest of my corners. As it turns out, all that stuff is a better indicator than his 73 OVR or low AWR ratings. He had a good year in both run support and in pass coverage. He'll likely be a starter again next year, regardless of progression or OVR rating.

FYI - I am starting to work on the human v human non-conference games.

Basically everyone will have at least 4 human games. For the guys that are alone in their conference this means all 4 of your non-conference games will be against humans. (Michigan St, Virginia, Army#, SMU & South Florida*)

# For Army - Smooth, with the move to the MAC and us moving to more human games it looks like you will lose your two rival games with Air Force & Navy. Do you care? Cuz if everyone is ok with it I can just have you play 3 human games so you can at least play Navy or Air Force every year. But let me know.

* For South Florida they actually have 5 non-conference games. So BN will have to decide between Penn State and a Florida school for his one CPU non-conference game.

BYU/TCU & Kentucky/ECU (now in the SEC) will have 3 human non-conference games. If you guys have a preference for your one CPU non-conference game let me know. Otherwise I will either pick a default good team from your CPU generated schedule or pick a high ranked team most likely from the Pac-10 since that is the only conference we don't have a human in. (Iron, I finally might not force you to play Louisville)

Colorado/Oklahoma St/Texas A&M I believe this year is the year Colorado rotates off OSU/TAMU's schedule. So Colorado will have 4 non-conference human games and OSU/TAMU will have 3 human non-conference games.

I will see what I can do with putting this together and if I have any number conflicts I will post them (ie if I need to drop Colorado to 3 human non-conference games to make the numbers work, or if I need someone to add a 4th human game if they are slated to only play 3)
