I wasn't going to get a first down running the clock, and you had 3 time outs left. I went with what was working....sort of.
Or should I say your TE played a great game? Dang... when did you get that beast? And how fast is he?

he was my best WR going into the season. When I was doing position changes, my TE was something like a 68....and I only had one. I went to my WR backups to get a TE when I noticed that I had something like 15 WRs on roster. My top WR turned out to be a pretty good TE. he was a big possession guy at wide out who didn't do much for me, and I wanted to make room for some of the speed guys I've brought in.
But I can say the biggest play of the game was the series after I intercepted you in the 1st quarter (really... how the heck did my CB make a shoestring INT?)

I was more than a little pissed off at that play. you had just gone down the field and kicked a FG. a drive where I had you on 3rd and 19....and you completed a pass through 2 of my guys hands.....the second guy picked you up and carried you past the first down marker on the tackle. then I had 2 different plays where my guys dropped EASY interceptions. fast forward to your pick....I'm throwing a comeback that I always end up throwing too short. your CB is BEHIND my WR. he somehow catches a ball that's on the ground. :pissed:

and THAT is the magnetic INT bullshit that pisses me off to no end. there is no reason for the game to do this. I make bad throws all the time on my own. I don't need the QB deciding that when I actually do make the correct read, to throw it right to the defender. I absolutely hate that shit....and if I had known that's what had happened to you, I would have just pitched the ball right there so you could recover it. that's how much I hate that "play". the same thing happened on your last pick 6, to an extent. my guy was open standing in front of you, but the throw went right past him into your hands.


your sack on the first play after that pick, and the sack on the first play of my next drive pissed me off, too. my TE was wide open in the flat both times. the first time I scanned the field for a second before hitting X....nothing. sack. so the next time i just hiked it and held down on X as hard as I could. nothing. sack. grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Yeah, I was thankful that your LBs must have hands of stone dropping all the gifts I gave them the first 2 drives. But it makes up for the super jumping LB that intercepts a pass that is going 15-20 yards past them. But on that one INT I was expecting a review the whole time figuring that HAD to touch the ground. .

That is one thing my SMU team has... a freakish defensive line. I got a 96 rated DE who had like 18 sacks last season and won the Lombardi. And the other 3 guys (and their backups aren't too shabby) are all crazy pass rushers and run stuffers. The problem is my LBs are slower than shit and the CBs get outrun by TEs :wink2: And Texas A&M steals any decent recruit that wants to come to SMU... Damn you Basebuck!!! :pissed:

If you can play today between 1:30 EST and 6PM EST we can get our game in today. I can't commit to anything after 6 though. I don't think that the Woman would be pleased for me to be out of town all week, and then have me tell her that we can't spend time together, "because I have a game."

If you can't play today. what time do you want to get our game in tomorrow?

Good game Olaf. Good job of taking advantage of my two RS Freshman safeties, but when it came down to it, you just don't have enough players. I couldn't believe the push that I was getting from the line. You did a hell of a job making user tackles, otherwise I score a hundred.

52-28 win for UK.

Whobe and I just finished our game. After being up 21 and in command, whobe scored 21 unanswered points helped by two miraculous onside kicks. Tied 35-35 with 40 seconds to go, Gaither led his fighting mormons down the field and connected on a TD pass leaving under 20 seconds to go. 42-35 was the final to the game.

My defense is filled with non-tacklers in the secondary. My passing game is pretty strong, but I need a better RB than a WR convert with speed.

Same to you. God job exploiting my secondary made up primarily of first and second year players.

Oh, and my first INT was the MOTHER of Magnetic INTs. I had my left receiver running an in-route against a zone. He broke in and it looked like I could fit it in there. Mind you, he was on the LEFT side of the field. The ball went to his SS in the middle of the field, close to the RIGHT hash mark. Holy hell. I couldn't believe it. I just laughed.

The other four INTs? Entirely my fault.
