Hey!!! Stop trying to demean my glorious victory over you!
We were great when we played Oregon, 99 in all categories.

Seriously, my offense is ranked like 69 and I can't justify that. QB and RB maybe? WR's are garbage, my line are great matador impersonators and my defense is average at best.

The great thing is that it is forcing a perfect strategy though which is amusing.

I should probably ask this before I unleash it on a human oponnent

my oline is alergic to run blocking so ive just resorted to a Texas Tech style throw it every play offense

however I have been using my 95 and 96 speed HBs as WRs now these past 2 games against the computer, is this considered cheese? I dont believe so, since there is no option to change players positions during the season (if there was I would had changed them to WRs) but real teams use HBs at WR and WRs at HB all the time (percy harvin for example) so I dont consider it cheese but id thought Id ask before I do it against a human and get complained on

My recruiting is going to be a bitch when I actually do it, Got tons of strategy to figure out visits I have schedule and maybe reschedule before I play my game. Smooth is really starting to piss me off. That bastard came out of no-where to get a soft verbal from my future stud starting HB. I thought my main competition was Wood and we share the same visit week so thought I was safe. FUCK YOU SMOOTH, don't you have a ton of HBs already??? I just really have to pray he doesn't hard commit after this week and get him to Eugene in Week 8 as planned.

Shhhhh... There was a reason why I didn't say anything.

He was originally scheduled to visit in Week 9. I saw I was too far down his list and that he wouldn't last that long, so I rescheduled him to last week. He was the only recruit visiting, and I made sure I focused heavily on the run.

If you put the HBs in the WR depth chart, then it could be considered cheese. If you just switch up the formations on the play-call screen then that's good strategy. I do that, too. I'll sometimes use an HB Slot or HB at WR formation.

I don't really care, but the game has options to change packages that do exactly what you talk about (hacing a TB at WR).

Moving two tailbacks to both open slots and throwing quick outs to them is sortof taking advantage of the video game (which could be considered cheesing), but I think there are ways to stop this.....

I think it is the commish's call though, so I assume my opinion is irrelevant....

My issue is with speed at non-speed positions. As long as those HBs aren't lining up at TE or FB, then I don't care. HB, WR, CB any of those can be put in at WR as far as I'm concerned.

eh, I dont think its much different from just running pass patterns with the HB out of the HB position all day (which the AI is completely stupid in covering at times)

I must've missed this when I responded to 'mania's question. How is moving a 96 speed runningback into the slot any different than having a 96 speed WR in there? Well, other than shittier route running and worse hands.

There are some advantages, like breaking tackles on quick flares and slants. I don't think there is anything wrong with it. You see it in real life all the time

Hey, as mentioned, I don't really care either way, was just providing another view point. But along those lines, and to answer the questions, the HB are much better at breaking tackles!
Hey yourself, shit nuts. :wink2:

My question to you wasn't meant to put you on the defensive. I was just asking what the advantage, specifically what the code exploit would be. Sometimes my (lack of) written communication skills make my statements look more confrontational/harsh than is intended.

I think that the advantages are offset by the disadvantages. So, yeah, nothing wrong with doing it like 'mania is doing it.

The one thing about these subs is that at no time is picking a spread formation and audibling to any typical run formation an option.
