NCAA09 360 Pac-10 Dynasty

That's why this game frustrates me sometimes. When I don't like the way a game is going I like to punish the defense and pound the rock consecutively for a drive. However it seems as if in this game if your speed is not above 95 then your worthless.

I'd love to pass on you but my receivers are having a tough time getting separation. I'll still give it a try though lol...but you have been demolishing most of the teams you've been playing. Has it been getting out of hand early or is it more of a gradual schlacking?

The first two games I used Oregon's playbook and struggled. The past few games I brought out the Nevada playbook and dominated. I won't run the same 5 plays out of the same set (like I did with the power I), and audible depending on the defense. Redbenn LOVED that

Between adjusting to the sharp dropoff in speed (read: ease of outathleting the competition) from the ACC dynasty, and having a useful playbook, the opposition was no match for me. However, they were usually able to move the ball down to the redzone with ease, we just clamped down and held them to FGs or turnovers.

Yeah the quarterbacks...even if they're completely idiotic in real life...can pick apart any base defense for between 15-25 yards anytime they want. But as soon as the field is compacted its pick city. It is fun playing against a heisman computer sometimes rather than playing against the online "Pat White scramblin, Tebow blowin, Harvin abusin, RB to FB switchin, no skill havin" assbags who populate this game. Who quit as soon as they throw their second duck of an interception and get pissed as if Tyrod Taylor has the arm of Elway and the acumen of Montana while on the run off of his backfoot. Yuck.

We've advanced to week 5.

Redbenn, we rumble in week 6. You won last week vs Arizona.

Cal, you can have the dual threat (unless UCLA can make a surge). He's beyond my reach.

yeah, we can get it in tomorrow... i was worried, i was in 4th for Edwards, but had him on a visit vs. wvu, and beating the #5 team locked up a nice 6'4 239 lb B+ speed passer....

starting to like this team, good RBs, D is playing well... we'll see next week (tomorrow night)

You guys are going to love Joe McKnight. Sanchez is the only thing that can stop that offense (and he's quite good). If they gave it to Joe every play, there would be no stops, save for a random fumble. He jukes through the box (when filled with 15 bodies) like they're blades of grass.

Oregon could not hold on 4th and goal on USC's opening drive. After an INT, they went for it again on 4th and goal (inches) and Oregon stuffed them.

Early in the game USC pulls off this semi cheap pick 6, ball should have been easily past the stationary defender.

Oregon responds with a two pick sixes of their own, and eventually regain control of this game. USC forces a turnover and cuts it to a 11 pt game at halftime. USC keeps up the momentum and continuously pulls within 4, but Oregon answers right back with scores of their own.

With 5 min left in the 4th, Oregon is driving to put the nail in the coffin vs SC. A simple hook pass to a stationary WR (my impact, stud possession guy) results in a pick 6, thanks to the WR not bothering to catch the ball.

Can't recall if I scored, but USC goes down to score with 2 min left and take a 3 point lead. Plenty of time for a winning drive.

Oregon gets down to the 40, setting up 3rd and 2. Rollout left, stops and sees the TE wide open across the field. Sets his feet and throws a beautiful pass right to the stationary TE. The impact TE stands there and lets it bounce off his feet. A few plays later USC would sack Oregon and basically end the game. I let them run in the next play in hopes of an improbable KR TD & onsides kick... it finished with another outrageous Taylor Mays interception.

Nevada playbook is done. Bringing back Texas. I doubt I have the personnel, but I've got to go with what I know.

glad I didn't waste my time recruiting him... I figured he was gone either way.

On the flipside, your visit for my speed WR didn't impress him. Looks like we'll each have one position of offensive dominance in recruiting.

And that I'll be assed out in both...great that QB was going to be the savior of my program and now I'll have to line up against him every year lol. Gotta set my sights lower I guess. I'm still in good shape for some great defensive prospects...but it looks like my offense will still be the same...
