yikes, well I guess we got the challenges we wanted :p

btw, I just noticed I added Kansas to my schedule, I meant to put them on cal. Here I thought I was giving us easier ranked teams to adjust to our new squads.

Whoo I took Tennessee down in a barnburner. Was only able to punch in field goals early on then finally started converting them into touchdowns in the third and fourth quarter. Made a small defensive line adjustment which got alot of pressure in on the quarterbacks face and blew up the run plays. Their D-Line was nasty though, I basically had to concede that I was going to punt it away on third and more than 5. In the end I pulled it out with a goal line stand! Man I was one play away (damn you Sparty!) from a 3-0 start going into Pac 10 play...woulda been nice!

I think I'm either leading or in second for two of the top 5 corners...and I'm definitely in the mix for the #1 overall free safety. They are all coverage type and are burners in their own right. It helped me to get three commits on the spot in the first week at the need positions of LB and G. That lets me scour the country for some toys to play with :wink:
