Never mind, I had the dumb. I forgot you had to look up the invites, was thinking of the game invite system (which appears in your inbox).

You have to boot up the game...
Then go to XBOX LIVE menu
Then go to Dynasty
Then view Dynasty Invites

And I think you can figure out the rest :)
