I will be able to connect at some point. It may be 5 minutes from now, or 5 hours, or tomorrow. Like I said, it's been totally hit or miss lately, but more miss than hit recently.
I'm connected to XBL right now by a direct cable connection to the DSL modem, no firewalls, open modem settings, everything with hard resets, and the online menu is still unavailable.
We could try again tomorrow, and I bet it would work somewhere along the line, but I don't feel like wrestling with it. Feel free to make CMU (they're overpowered for the MAC anyway, I had no idea LeFavreator was so good, so it's a good team to be AI controlled) computer controlled, or find another manager for it. I'd love to continue forward, but this just isn't going to work, obviously. Strangest thing too, this is all very recent, and nothing has changed here. I see a number of others posting on the usual sites complaining of the same thing, so I'm not alone, but there doesn't seem to be any notion of what might be causing this. I've done everything conceivable on this end to make sure it's not local to me. Maybe it's a problem with my neighborhood switch or something with the ISPs -- but two different networks/ISPs, same problem? Hard to grasp. Maybe it's something with my 360 itself, as it relates to EA and only EA, but if that's the case, I'm equally up the creek, and still hard to swallow since I could play any other non-EA game on XBL right now this moment.
