I think this is my last user game, so if we played this one locally, I should be able to find another router before next season.

whoever is joining the game is gone after 5-10 seconds, and never changes a thing (which makes me think they are gone pretty instantly, it just takes a while to register)

I don't get why I can play with folks online, but not my MAC opponents. I played reelaxn just fine in the first dynasty, but can't seem to face my MAC one.

Hmm that's weird because when I join after you invite me, I can select my team and have it say "Ready". I can't access dynasty due to the servers being down again. I think EA dropped the ball on such a good feature, hopefully it will be flawless next year.

But I looked at KSU's schedule and with NIU and BGSU being booted, you don't have any other user games after me (CHEAP by the way )

Have you ever seen me change my setting to 'ready'? I have done so many times with you visible, before I drop or you drop (depending on the host). I think it's simply taking a few seconds to show the other is gone.

so are you available some time wed (or thur if need be) to play locally? (then I'll pick up another router or something I guess... I didn't really expect this trendnet cheapie to work, but it was worth a shot)

I can play earlier in the day in between 1245 and 6 or so

Oh and it's been known that some routers don't work well with Live. It's just the way it is. The one I got last year which was like $25 or $30 has worked flawlessly.

Can you play at all tomorrow, if the newer routers work? I know you said you were busy, but that was for a more formal get together.

my wife's work is 1 mi away. They have the same DSL service/company & modem, is it worth trying it there, even tho it didn't work straight into my same modem?
