Man, that's two fast QBs (he was the #18 or #23 ATH, I can't remember) I've gotten in back to back years. I'll be running the spread next season, and this was the #1 QB I wanted. I have a shot at the #2 QB on the board, but he's more of a pocket passer, and USC's closing on me hard.

It looks like the white death is closing in on Ohio so my wife and I are heading to the in-laws tonight, instead of tomorrow morning. That means that I won't get my game in until the evening of the 27th, at the earliest.

Also, despite the tougher schedules, we're all getting a lot of 60 and 70 point games. I'm thinking about promoting all of us to the Big Ten next season, and adjusting the other conferences accordingly. I think that we're all ready to test out our teams against each other, and get more of a challenge out of this dynasty. Let me know if you're all ok with doing that.

Merry Christmas!

The ONLY issue I have with moving us all into one conference next season is potential promise issues. Then again I may be the only one, but in this dynasty I switched my 'go to' promise to guaranteeing a conference championship.

I only bring this up just in case others went heavy on this promise as with all 4 of us in one conference, that means only one will survive :wink2:. I don't know how bad the side effects will be with this broken...

Of course I will stop promising this, and will have to check how many guys I have actually landed have this promise. Which might not be many because I haven't landed many guys plus I use that promise more for heavily competitive recruiting wars which I have not won many of.

So, if no one else has an issue with this, it's not that big of an issue that I would really cry about it.

Otherwise... my next year team SHOULD kick ass and would love to see what it would do against other people as most of my stars are juniors (including my heisman favorite QB)

Same here Piney. Hadn't thought of that before you said something.

Are the sliders in this league all flat? I know we don't typically adjust them, but maybe that's an option for one more season to up the difficulty a little. Maybe increase recruiting difficulty a level too. Then move to the B1G the following year.

Iron, I hope the best for your family.

You guys make good points about promises. Since Olaf and I will be in the same conference next season, my go to has been promising a top ten finish.

I haven't really researched sliders, so that's something I could look at. I can also try to workout a schedule that includes OOC human opponents and the required home rivalry games.
