I'm waiting to start up any dynasties until I get a suitable custom roster loaded, so I just played a quick game, OSU - scUM. the only change I made was benching Pryor for Braxton Miller.
Against the CPU I tend to run the ball a lot, so I only end up 7/11 passing, but I had three long TD passes on quick passes in the seams. It seems that with the improved zone defense, the CPU prefers to run it a lot. It was that wy in the demo for me too. Then again, maybe I'll see more man-to-man as I start to play other teams.
The Power O is a thing of beauty when the other team's front seven don't warp or suction into place.
While the pass rush may be muted compared to the demo, it still seems more prevalent than last year. It seems realistic to me to be able to generate pressure with just the D-line at least occasionally, but that never really happened for me last year like it did so far this year.
To balance that out, it seems like QB scrambling has been tweaked as well. Most notably, I was able scramble up the middle and not get suctioned into my own blockers when the deense vacated the space. On the edge, I was able to outrun a DL for a change. It's more realistic when mobile QBs don't get chased down from behind by players 100 lbs. larger.
