NCAA Football 11 (PS3) Bad Teams Online Dynasty

Before I sim any games, I've been thinking. Judging by my incoming draft class in the other dynasty, where three of my 4* recruits are coming in rated in the 60s, I think that our dynasties are pretty much ruined due to EA's recruiting fuck up that needed patched. With my Cal team, I have a 4* CB rated a 65 OVR. In that same class, the CPU threw in some recruits at the end I wasn't targeting. Among them was a JUCO 2* CB that's rated 68, three points higher than my four-star guy.

Because of all this, I'm pretty sure the teams in this league will never improve. What I propose is this. How would you feel about starting over but with the rating cap being just like in Fanatic's (B+ overall or something, I'd have to look)? You can still use your TeamBuilder teams. For me, instead of giving West Chester La-Laf's stats, I'll give them a B+ team's stats and go from there. Hell, if you want, we can just choose any team, regardless of prestige or rank. The same rules will still apply. No user v. user games unless a bowl game matches people up, one team per conference, and we'll try to advance three times a week.

If you're interested, I can start over right away. If not, and you want to continue with the league as is, I'm fine with that, too. I just don't think we'll really see any improvement in our teams before NCAA 12 is released.

I'm confused by that, does that mean one can change individual stats until it gets to B+? I'm not really for that as I would just make my freshmen QB THP/THA ratings stupid high while keeping others down (ie awareness, speed, etc) so he's still rated 85-90ish. Or my RB have 99 speed, high agility, and high accel, but skimp on the stats I don't use much (spin, stiff arm, etc). I could easily make an 88 overall team on teambuilder, but have them be unstoppable due to manual tinkering.

I'm cool with the teambuilder thing, but as long as it was an actual team's stats. I personally prefer that the state remain the same as the school too, but I don't care too much about that. I just didn't understand that teambuilding at the first startup meant moving states was allowed so I selected UNT early because of their state when I could have selected a much better school and just moved them to Texas.

Eh, honestly, I liked playing crappy teams until I got F-d with that first recruiting class and horrid recruiting prestige ratings that never change (D conference prestige....).

If I were to do this league all over again I'd change the selection criteria to all two star prestige teams, maybe with a few limitations.

Hell, maybe for a restart go with 3 star teams (to kinda get going where we left off) and work from there and change some sliders to make the game a little more challenging. There's some really good AA slider sets on operation sports.

I liked the challenge of a smaller school, there are some monster B+ rated teams in this game and in a league where there are no user games in season I'd get bored smashing the computer every week.

jmo.

I like this dynasty, hard as hell to win games.

I barely squeaked by Wyoming of all teams. I clanked a 57 yard FG off the crossbar and in as time expired to win that game. This week I scored a late TD with 16 seconds left to beat BYU.

I just played my last game with North Texas.

That was beyond stupid.

I played 1.5 quarters when I simmed the rest of the game.

I uploaded a video to show the stupidity of my QB and how he just loves to throw it 15 yards over a receiver to a waiting CB covering a different receiver or a very thankful safety. I was throwing to a wide open 10 yard out route on a cover 3 zone. My QB decides to chuck it way over the receivers head right into the arms of the CB who wasn't looking at the play.

After 4 or 5 turnovers in the 1.5 quarters, the last being on a kickoff return, I said fuck it and simmed the rest. BC went on to win 87-14.

An epic mismatch, they have 2 QBs rated over 90 and my 57 rated nickle CB had no chance against their speedy receivers. zone, 3 deep, man, blitz - didn't matter, they converted 3 or 4 3rd and 12+ in a row on me. I love that.

So yea, I'm done with UNT.

If you're cool with me switching teams, let me know what level of teams you want me to look at. Also, if Wood is switching to the Big 10, I'd like to switch the the MWC (I think that's what he was in).

I'm fine with it, I just want to wait until the offseason to see how teams progressed. Also, I'm not sure if I can move people into conferences. We did it before by taking the dynasty offline and doing it there. That's no longer possible. If anything, I might have to give him a new team.
