Eh, whatever man. Not sure what correlation you're trying to make about the video game. So Dunbar makes one play on special teams and then becomes the glass man because he's made that one play?

He's the only returner I have with a decent carry rating. FYI, he's only returned 6 kicks this season, so yea, I can see what you're getting at... Often he'll get knocked out for a quarter or two and then comes back and gets re-injured. Is that all because I let him return kicks? :roll2:

Just saying I never heard that kick returners are more susceptible to injury later in the game due to that one play. How is that different than running him off tackle once and then having him get injured?

I never have starters return kicks or punts. They get worn out faster from being in the return game, and they're more susceptible to injury when they're tired.

I don't know about this year's version, but I have noticed a higher rate of injury on returns than on plays from scrimmage in previous versions.

- returns tire players out. I almost never have starting WRs or RBs returning kicks....although I will put a fast CB back there because he hopefully won't need to see the field on the next play
- returns in this game are brutal on the returner. the next time I get a block on a punt return will be the first, and every tackle I take on a kick return is usually a gang tackle
- fatigue from returning kicks adds up
- injuries on this game are handed out like candy at halloween

just got fucked over by the refs against boise....weeee, I lost 24-21

picked up a first down with about 130 left on the clock, oh wait they call some BS holding when my WR was the one who got tossed to the ground on the play....then you know what happens next, 2 straight passes that are dropped by open WRs

So, I'm in Chicago on business, brought my PS3 so I could play my game in the hotel. Wouldn't ya know they are having broadband issues. I'm here till Wednesday, if this doesn't clear up any chance of waiting till Thursday night to advance? Its ok if not, I'm not going to a bowl or anything. Thought I'd ask...

If I hold off until Thursday, then WOOD will only miss his BYE week. I don't know what kind of bowl game WOOD will get with three losses, but I don't want to sim in a fourth loss this late in the season. Especially since he's not the only one that would benefit from a two day delay.

Also, Piney is holding us up again, and Whobe and Tony are apparently still unable to mark themselves as "Ready". :biggrin:
