I can't believe your RB did that. You almost wish he dropped it, but instead of falling forward for the 1/2 yard he needed he turned and went backwards???

The bastard jumped backward to catch the ball. He was wide open, no one around him, and already past the first-down marker with room to run when I threw it. He then, for some reason, stopped and jumped backwards to catch the ball at its highest point. He landed short of the first down and was immediately swamped by your defense. This was the first time I lost my controller playing the game. I threw it in the air in frustration and it landed behind my couch. I had to dig it out. That's the main reason why I paused the game.

I am obviously missing something here........What the hell is keying on run middle and all this other junk? How to I key on something? Please inform....

p.s. I now officially feel like an idiot.

On defense. Hit L2 before the play and your defensive keys will come up. You can choose to key on run left, run right, run middle, or pass. If you guess right, it gives your defenders a head start on getting to the ball. If you guess wrong, then you'll be out of position.

knocking Pryor out is probably what won it for me, I couldnt do crap on offense except for a few big plays to the tight end

Great game mania! Pryor going down early in the second half just killed my offense. Luckily I have a BYE next week and shouldn't have to face Whobe with Bauserman at the helm.

Texas was able to kick the game winning FG to win 26-23. Ohio State led most of the game until Texas fought back from a 20-10 deficit...took a 23-20 lead, only to give up the tying FG with around 2 minutes to play. A fourth down conversion where I thought that I'd knocked the ball loose was the deciding play, as it put Texas in FG range, and allowed them to run the clock down in the process.

Crap. I have to play Penn State with Bauserman. Back to the Air Force playbook. I can't run a flexbone with only two QBs, and one of them isn't all that fast.

Somhow I squeezed out a B on my visit from the #1 QB recruit, depsite my loss to Texas.

I've added a Conditional Playoff System to the Rules and Settings Post (post #1) of this dynasty. If anyone has any questions, then feel free to ask, but actually read the post a couple of times before you ask any questions that are already addressed in the post.

1. Conditional Playoff System
   • Scenarios:
     1. If there is an undefeated team in the "Big East" Super Conference, and that team makes the NCG against a CPU controlled opponent, then that team will be considered the champion, and no playoff will be necessary. Bowl games will be played as they are and a Dynasty Champion will be named after the bowls are over.
     2. If there is an undefeated team in the Big East, and only 1 one-loss team in the Big East, and the game puts both teams in the National Championship Game, then the winner of the NCG will be crowned the Dynasty Champion.
     3. If there are 2 one-loss (no undefeated teams) teams in the Big East and only one or neither team makes the NCG, then an alternate dynasty will be created to make the NCG into a Dynasty Championship game.
        • All Bowl games will be played normally, in the main dynasty, and everyone will get credit for Bowl game wins, but not for Dynasty Championships
        • After the bowl season is over, the Dynasty Championship game will be played during the offseason of the main dynasty, and the winner will be crowned Dynasty Champion. That way we don't have to slow down the progression of the main dynasty in order to crown a champion.
     4. If there are 3 or 4 teams bunched at the top of the dynasty, then a four team playoff will be setup by either using the NCG site for all playoff games, or by replaying regular season matchups with homefield advantage turned off.
        • If there were 3 one-loss teams and 1 two or three loss team, then the 2 or 3 loss team just won the lottery and made the four team playoff.
     5. If there are more than four teams with 2 losses or more, and no clear winner, top 2, or even top 4, then an 8 team playoff will be played by replaying regular season matchups with homefield advantage turned off.
   • Note: Drunken Clown will run the playoff dynasty in the event that scenarios 3-5 happen. That way I don't have to take this one offline, and we can continue progressing as the playoffs are being played.
