I think the rosters only hold 55 players, you listed 78 I believe.

It's really weird to see the offense rated very high, and the defense looking simply mediocre, at best...

I just went ahead and rated all of them since we won't know who they leave out untill it comes out. I thought it was 65 or 70(maybe that's just dynasty mode?) but I could be wrong. I wish they would just allow the 85 man roster like real life, it's a pain and especially in dynasty mode. Ok Freeman may be a bit high and an 86 or 88 would probably be closer. But I really did try and be realistic and was just wondering how everyone else would have them ranked.

Don't know why that is.

EA gets the depth charts(Spring Depth Charts) from every school and uses those to make the rosters. Since Smith was listed as #1 in the spring depth charts OSU sent, he should be the starter in game.

Space issues, theres not enough room for it, atleast not on current gen that is. I'm not sure if its 75 this year on the new gen system, but I get you bet that by next year the rosters will be expanded.

I think a lot of the players will develop and become much better than any ratings would indicate in the game. I understand why they cannot go ahead and give players high ratings based on hype or potential, but I think if we could assess the ratings in the middle of the season, the team would be as stellar in the game as in real life.
