Not sure I'd say it was under control at 7-3 but the breaks were definitely going your way so far.

I've never had a counter go for 30 yards before, let alone 83. Clay sure didn't feel like 95 SPD/96 ACC in this game.

I got instant commits from 2 4* and a 5* in week 1. Good start

Anytime I throw an INT and then it's fumbled back to me on the return, I feel like I'm in control. :lol:


Seems like the user/user games are always slower than when playing the computer. I don't know if that's an online issue or what, but the overall speed always seems slower.


It was an uphill battle for me from the start. I mean, you're 99 across the board in rankings. My guys couldn't open many holes and you're a monster on user picks.


I was also having issues with my controller. That first game when I went for it on the first series on 4th and 4. I kept pushing my triangle button to quick access my special teams to punt, but it kept bringing up formations instead. It was weird. So every time I wanted to punt I had to "ask coach" just to find it. LOL. It was a pain.


oh well, I'll get my user losses out of the way then battle back for a BCS bid by the end of the season.

I was having an issue in the play calling screen as if there was lag in hitting the directional buttons so I would go past my play. It didn't impact the game but just the playcalling screen.

I like this team with good ratings at almost every position (TE excluded). Not sure how the Def will pan out yet, but pretty happy after the first game. My QB is a 98 Accuracy and in the first game, he missed two wide open routes by 10 yards. He was set in the pocket so no reason why he should have missed by that much.

I think AWR rating must have something to do with SPD. My older RB's that are slower ratings wise but play; especially acceleration; faster.

I trotted my true freshman ATH/QB out there too and he wasn't as explosive as I'd hoped. Probably had more to do with your run defense than anything. Now I'm not sure if I want to bring him back or stick with my All American from last year who's slower.

was he your starter? Willie or something like that? You ran the one designed scramble at the beginning of the game and he forced me into a spy the rest of the game even though you barely ran him. I think I even sacked him on the scramble but I had the right blitz called and got lucky. But his speed scared me.

yeah, Willie White :lol:. I brought in my other guy in the second half because I figured I was going to need to pass. But the game was so out of hand by that point I just started running out the clock. He's got some speed, but several of his passes were off target.
