yeah, that spread gave me WAYYYYYYY to much credit. I think we're pretty much all playing for second place with fanatic on board. Dude has an answer for basically every thing you throw at him. He's the complete player.

I swear, it was like every one of his offensive players were on turbo....... I could hardly keep up.

Hat's off to you, sir. Congrats. Did you win the NC last year too?

GG Mike. Your strategy gave you no room for error. You controlled the clock 22 - 5 (felt like I was on defense the whole game); and in the first half up until the interception it was working. But you had to score every time. Did you forget to take tempo off in the second half?

Your team was also outmanned, the rating gaps were pretty large. I think next year I may come back down on the lines which will hurt. The user games are competitive 99% of the time, today was an outlier. I wouldn't say it's everyone else for second by any stretch, @MD Buckeye have had close games each time.

I did not win the NC, I think it was the Sugar.

If we do change conferences, are you putting us in the same or different divisions? Wondering if we will have to play twice based on the scheduling in regular season and then championship.

Are we ever going to do anything about the option? Does anyone else feel like it is impossible to stop for a whole game? I'm not saying we shouldn't be able to run it but if your running it 3-5 times a drive I'm pretty sure you can't be stopped. I could just be being a sore loser lol but Mann lets do something... Maybe no option in the next half in User games?

Fanatic did a pretty good job stopping mine. I had marginal success with it. The defense i was using was semi effective, but i got burnt a few times. But every time i had a good rum defense called, he audibled to a pass.that's the downfall to killing the clock is I just didn't leave myself enough time to really audible out of anything.

as for our game fanatic, I didn't forget to turn the speed clock option oFf, I just was kind of conceding the second half because I didn't see myself coming back from a two touchdown deficit.

Full disclosure, I am an option based offense, so I have a vested interest in keeping it. But it can be slowed down, and if there is no threat of the pass, you can really limit the option offense. A major contributing factor to the user games is our DL are not that good and we're still on varsity difficulty so unless the user controls the player the OL tends to win a lot of the battles in my experience. Not to mention controlling the read DE can be hit or miss when trying to make a play. There wer several times in my game with @MD Buckeye, it looked like he made the right read and when he went for the tackle it went in to the whiff-tackle motion. It's happened to me many times too; I want to tackle the QB but it goes after the RB instead.

We could try to implement limits, such as max QB runs or a run/pass balance overall, but I am not sure how well it would work because of the variables involved (especially run/pass balance). I bet I don't run 7 times per user game with my QB and I'm 75% option based offense.

I really like the offense I run because I can run counters, straight runs, options, and pass to almost any side of the field out of the same formation. I'm limited in the creativity of some of the passing plays, but it can be difficult to key too much on the offense.

Your honor, my closing remark is we have ran this league for darn near a decade with very limited issues with cheese-play in user games. I see no real reason for concern at this juncture. Keep government small, Saban and Bielema out of the rules regulation meetings and keep the sanctity of our league, and our wonderful sport in tact. [\drops mic, walks off]

I'm not really sure how we could limit the option and just as @fanaticbuckeye, it's a big part of my offense as well. Defense is my issue vs. users lol and I need to figure out how to improve. I'll advance within an hour.
