I remember reading something a while back how the rankings were done and this was a major complaint; the algorithm prioritizes number of wins and 'quality' of loss and doesn't consider head to head. So your loss to LaTech (#5/6) is worse than his loss to you (#3/4). There is a pretty wide gap between the two of you too. The good news is you have more games left than UAB, and Oklahoma is ranked higher than his potential championship game opponent USC; so maybe you can jump him that way.

Shoot that theory in the foot... Army is #2 in Coaches and #3 in BCS and lost to unranked Boise St.
