You are just lucky the 5 stars are sucking major balls and I actually had a big senior class so I couldn't oversign my way to the recruiting title.

Yeah, he sucked major donkey balls and after I scouted him to 60% I stopped recruiting him. But kept him on the big board just because. Then I saw you on him like fly on shit... and figured dang it... I might actually have to recruit him again and finish scouting him.

I was hoping I could sign him after I secure some final needs in my class... its always nice to sign an extra 5* to win the recruiting rankings. Cuz that seems to be the only way I can win :biggrin:

Plus it is hard to get into recruiting when I know next season will be my last. Cuz it will be that time of year to scale back my NCAA play to give the wife a break.

So thanks to TaM for not recuriting the number 12 tackle (I saw you had a bunch of 5 star T's already) He turned out to be an 80 in a class where it has been hard for me to find and hold on to a good lineman.

It's nice getting the #1 FS and #1 and #2 SS's in the class and a stud WR. Other than that this is a meh class for me.

I went after 10+ 5 stars (none of which I was leading for) in the beginning and got 1. Lesson learned.

I am recruiting a lot of ATH and they take up a lot more time, so I was spending 30 minutes per week on key recruits. It took a few weeks for Gibbs to really show how bad he was and then I dropped him a the end of the season. I dropped many of my pre-season recruiting hours too because they ended up dropping into the 60's or low 70's.

Like I said earlier, if i can shore up my DL in this class I will be happy. But we are winding down and it doesn't look like my Defense in this league will ever reach 'good.'

You're welcome :biggrin: I like socuting OLinemen full in the pre-season and once I got 3-4 all in the 78-81 range I stopped checking them, only check lower ranked guys when I miss. Never missed as I grabbed 3 :biggrin: Only problem is I only need one T, but I did need a few Gs and they just sucked this year... or I didn't scout any good ones, so decided a few of those tackles will end up Gs.

Yeah, sucks that Athletes take forever and if you keep missing the key attributes you are looking for in a guy it can really SUCK.

And thankfully you're defense 'sucks' in your eyes... or else I probably would never score against you. Then again... I can barely score against you now. :biggrin:
