Should be an interesting recruiting year. I finally have to look into recruiting QBs (loved having all frosh & sophomores with the style I wanted to play to start this dynasty)

But looking at the recruiting board... DANG... I counted 10+ highly rated QBs that fit my scheme and would/should have interest in my team. And of course scouting them gave me all the attributes BUT the ones I really need to figure out who to recruit.

This is going to really suck...

And this is my first huge class of seniors... so I need other positions... SUCKS!!! Thankfully I really don't need any players to come in to start right away.

I was thinking something similar. I have plenty of depth at QB, but no stars. Though I haven't made Franklin a star despite his great skills.

My defense is still rated a B (it may have been a B- last season), but almost all of my starters are FR or Soph with better skills. Especially at CB, my top four are 75-78 FR and Soph with pretty good skills but terrible AWR. Anxious to see how they actually play and I get tested against DTC in week 1. Could get ugly I fear. My HB situation is really weak too unfortunately, all young average guys but I don't know if I have a game breaker yet. That's where I am really focused this recruiting class along with lines.

I am hoping we get 4-5 more seasons in this league. I want to see these recruits grow. My Tennessee team last year I believe was 2 more seasons away from being awesome. This Mizzou team is probably 4 seasons including this one away. I'm sure may if your teams are th same; it would be great to have defenses full of 92-95 guys even if only for one year.

So ya saying I need to bet ya this year or I am screwed, eh?

But my team should be on the verge of greatness. Don't want to call my shot... but I should have no excuses this season. Last season was me switching my scheme a lil and getting use to a ton of frosh WRs. Well, those frosh WRs are now all sophomore 80+ rated WRs. My HBs are just plain sick, a 95 rated stud who finally gets to start and backups in the upper 80s.

While I lose my two stud tackles... its plug and play for them as well.

So I SHOULD be an offensive juggernaut. I know what I am doing and the players are all there.

Defense is a lil different, had to rebuild my LB last season and the young guys still aren't there, and I have no depth in the secondary, but my two starting CBs are just studs. I should be ok on defense... so as long as I score like I should... I should have a good season.

So I will call my shot... fanatic is going to blow me out again in the season ender and the SEC title game. :smash:

The next two years I'm pretty vulnerable. The first two seasons were just simply bad defenses and no depth. I still have a bad defense, but I have some potential finally. Potential doesn't win games though. Offensively I have a stud rated QB that I haven't figure out how to utilize appropriately. I have DGB who is awesome, but am average at the rest of the WR spots. OL is, I think, all in the low 80's. So okay, but not good enough to just overpower with the running game.

This year is all about reducing TO's, I had 35+ picks last season because I threw the ball all game every game, except against you the one game.

Yeah... that one exception is always kicking my arse :biggrin:

Understand about utilizing your stud QB... took me til midway through last season to figure it out. But you only have one more year of Showers to rain on you. Then next two season you will have an even faster version of him to deal with :biggrin: He just needed the extra seasoning to get his THA up enough to make him deadly. As a sophomore he is rated 83 (my lowest of the 4 QBs) but has 92 spd, 86 Agility, 93 Acceleration THP of 91 but a pesky THA of 83, next season that should be 86/87 and ready to take over for Showers :biggrin:

Hell... why isn't he starting now?

Also scary how Manziel is buried on my bench. 77 Spd isn't going to carry it when my other 3 QBs are Showers 89spd, 3rd string 86spd and Davis (my stud in waiting) with 92 Spd.

HB - Low 80s
TE - FR - 81
WR - 90s
OL - 79-86
DT- High 80s
DE - Low 80s
LB - mid 80s
DB - 79 and 80 Yikes! FR and Soph
FS - 95!
SS- 85

My important positions IMO are lacking this year. Thus why I am in trouble. My running game might be in trouble.
