I had a freeze tonight recruiting online, a big time T recruit I spent 60 minutes on him and it froze on the 2nd set of minutes, so I lost 40 minutes. I don't know that it's going to matter much as I trail by a big amount. But I do have a visit this week with him.

I also lost an ATH to UNC this week that was a soft verbal and a decent lead. I'm not seeing anywhere near the success this off season as in the other league. It's pretty challenging to get in on recruits in the off season and get a commitment, which is a good thing.

Advanced to Recruiting Week 5. The next advance will be no later than Sunday night. DTC, if you're not going to recruit during the offseason, could you let me know? That way I'm not wasting the day waiting for you.

I'm done.

I have 6 schollies left; 10 guys on the board all in top 2 except 1; and 5 guys visiting. The T that froze in week 4 I now have a huge lead for him and he doesn't have a vist scheduled as of now. He is my big prize left. The rest are 3-4* in the 64-72 range.

Looking forward to the advance.

6'5 236 LB 3* ATH with 88 SPD and 92 ACC comes in as a 74 rated WR & HB and 40 everywhere else. With that size speed combination I was hoping he was going to be a DE/OLB to rush the passer. Nope. This class, like the other league, strengthened depth and will have impact players next season, but probably not much for this year. May be redshirting a bunch.

I had two guys walkon, 68 rated G and HB. The RB has decent ratings other than 80 SPD and will probably get cut. The G on the other hand is higher rated than a 4* recruit I brought in. He will be a second string guy for me this year but may end up starting down the road, give or take the next recruiting classes. Pleasant surprise.
