Piney and I played our game last night, first time with the BT headset. That experience was poor, we could hardly understand each other it was so broken up.

As for the game, aTm just couldn't get any offense established. Missed throws by the QB, my DL morphing through his OL and making the tackle during the option handoff. The first few drives my QB had a few overthrows and slow releases, but after that he played well. I'm convinced that piney was sandbagging until the SEC championship game.

Yeah, BT headset was choppy. But it could be many things, and #1 could be the 5 year old headset that hasn't been used in 3 years. :biggrin:

The game... I have no idea what went wrong. It wasn't like fanatic was shredding my defense. It was just his defense shredded my offense so badly that fanatic had unbelievable field position all game. Where I kept starting at the best the 25 yrd line.

I tried different plays in my playbook and it did annoy me that any option play the read was to just eat it to not fumble.

Also the defense fanatic was running was something I haven't really encountered before. Or at least the alignment... so yeah, the sandbagging comment might be true if I can figure out what I will need to counter what you were doing. :biggrin: Cuz god knows beating you twice in a row is near impossible, so rather win the game that really counts :biggrin:

Didn't see OLB as one of this guy's positions. Tackling is high, but zcv, mcv, block shedding, finesse and power moves are all garbage. His running skills, 81 THP and 84 THA puts him at QB, HB, or FB for me.

fanatic pointed that out to me in our game the other day. I am NOT surprised. They say if it is in the game... it's in the game. Well Ohio will be going undefeated this season, so they made sure it was in the game :biggrin: Now only if they could win the MAC title in our season... me thinks that might prove difficult :(

Ain't that a bitch? It will really be interesting when we get to position changes and see the final ratings these guys get at the positions we think they would be good at versus what the CPU suggests here in the weekly updates.

I kept wondering why he was only projected as a 65OVR athlete. Now I know why...They have him projected at the wrong position. I'm projecting him as being in the mid-70's for QB, and possibly HB. His FB or TE rating will dpend on his blocking, but he could be decent at those two positions too.
