NCAA 13 (PS3) 5th Annual Online Dynasty Thread

Will try to be online around 8:30.

Should be fun, my first human game for 2013 and breaking out a brand new scheme!!!
Me too. I've never run a "pro-style" offense before. In fact, I've never run anything but a mix of option and run and shoot before...not sure how much fun I'm going to have.

Good game last night... well, like you said good game for me.

Basically I was more prepared to run my offense than Iron was prepared to run his offense. Was happy with my offensive performance in this game, my base plays worked against a human opponent and when the defense adjusted to what I was doing, the counter plays worked too. So was really happy with that. (or at least that is what it felt like)

So now I have the whole season to fine tune everything until my next human game... which is at the end of the season... didn't realize that til last night that my next human game isn't until Week 12/13.

Dam maxxx one hell of a game that was probably the best game I was apart of. It starts with maxxx taking a 23-7 lead at halftime.(did u miss a extra point?) Max was able to do anything he wanted on O in the passing game and the run. Then my team woke up for the 2nd half I got the ball drove the field to about my 45 yard line to throw a Quick slant my Wr beakes a 55yard td pass 23-14 the comeback starts ha I able to hold max on D he punts and my first Play I run up the middle to brake a 68 yard td 23-21. Max put a couple good plays together but comes up short on a long field-goal. I get the ball drive down the field to score again to take the lead for the first time in the game 23-27 I went for 2 max stop me. Still feeling real good about myself at this time kick the ball off to max who decides to return it all the way but wait holding call brings him back to his 15 yard line. That still doesn't really hurt max who puts a good drive together to to reclaim the lead 30-27 then the 4 quarter comes I think Max missed another long field goal. With like almost 3 min left I put a good drive together to just come up with a field goal to tie it up 30-30 max has the ball with 1 min left he try's to win the game and go for it instead of playing it safe and going for overtime(if it makes u feel better I would have done the same thing) he try's to throw a couple long passes almost gets pick then third down gets greedy and throws again only to get pick off by my cb who has a clear sprint to the end zone for a 29 yard pick 6 baby 29 sec left max gets pick off again game over grate game maxxx looking forward to the rematch

Fuck it. I don't have the time to learn two playbooks in my two ODs. I can run the run and shoot from the flexbone and wingbone with my Virginia team, and run the triple option with some RnS thrown in with my San Francisco team...all with the same custom playbook. With the borked zone defense, it shouldn't be too difficult to pass the ball from the flex and wingbone formations either.

Also, good game last night. I thought that I was going to be able to come back after scoring that TD at the end of the first half. I was getting the ball back, and I had some momentum. Too bad I couldn't keep it rolling. I honestly don't know how you scored that second TD. I called cover 4, and you throw it over the top of my strong safety. You were only 25 yards out...there's no fucking way he should've been beaten deep...especially with pass commit. The real ball breaker was the third and a mile from your own goal line that you threw over the top for that diving catch. That was just a thing of beauty. By then, I had given up on the fucked up zone and basically had to go with cover zero the rest of the game. It worked for a good portion of the second half, but that long conversion just completely changed the field position in the second half, and effectively ended any chance I had of making it a close game.

That's your fault for wanting to run 2 different offenses in your two dynasties

Yeah, that 3rd and a mile that I converted from the 10 yard line was huge. I was happy to punt and planned on checking down to my RB on that play, then I noticed your safeties came up and knew I had 1 on 1 coverage, so I was either going to overthrow it, or he was going to make a diving catch. Thankfully my impact player made the diving catch.

I'm actually heading out of town Friday night after work until Wednesday night, so it looks like we'll have to wait until then.
