NCAA 12 (PS3) 4th Annual Online Dynasty Thread

Sure. Purdue should be available, too. I don't know why the password isn't working. I'll send you an invite during halftime of the Jackson State game. Without looking at everybody's schedules, you probably won't have a user v. user game until next season.

Man, I'm struggling to get commitments. I was only focused on Hancock from the group I lost, but I've led for a few weeks on some guys that I can't seem to get a commitment from.

I've noticed that, too. I don't think visits carry the weight they used to.

I think if you time the visits correctly they still work. But you need A+ visits to get them to carry the weight again. I know I had a load of A+ visits a few weeks ago when I got all my commits. And two guys I thought I had no chance with shot up the chart with them with A+ visits (made up like 400+ points) but was too far behind to get them to switch their soft verbals.

And fantatic, I don't want to hear you complain, you got that stud Ath/CB to go to you from not even being in his initial Top 10. And I could never get on his Top 10 even though he was from Mississippi... dang it.

Getting in to contention is pretty similar, but getting the commitment seems harder this year. My approach has been more focused, spending more time on fewer recruits. Its great if I get those recruits, but if I miss out I'm toast. I am in the lead for 5-6 recruits currently and have been Softverbals or 98% + for a few weeks
The ATH and RB received 60 minutes each week. In the ATH case I got the commitment, while the RB committed to Texas after climbing to within 100 points. I don't remember being in the top 10 at the beginning for either.

So i've done it offline, but if i go undefeated with Toledo on the online dynasty, do you think i could get into the top 10?
Yes, because you'll have to go through three user controlled teams that will likely finish in the top two of their BCS conferences. If you go undefeated with Toledo next season, I would guess that you could get to a BCS Bowl, with an outside chance at a national title.

Yeah, still getting use to this recruiting point thing. But it really helps if you spend tons of time tracking your recruiting (me and my spreadsheets). So I can track how much time/# of points I need for each guy. I have 8-10 guys on my recruiting board that I was really the only one recruiting them so I can split time on all those guys then a bunch I go full bore on. It also helps I only had 10 seniors on my squad this year so I have minimal needs.

+1 Beating all 3 of your human games will go a long way. The only thing that would hurt would be if another human wins all of their human games and if there is a Big10 or Big 12 undefeated team since there are no humans in those conferences.

I am young too, that's why I am trying to recruit 10-12 guys hard. Two years ago you could pull 2-3 studs in the off season alone, I am anxious to see how it is this year.

Yeah, it will be curious how many new recruits pop up.
