That pick-six I threw was the real killer though. No excuses about superman LBs on that one - I just plain didn't see him until it was headed the other way. I'm just glad I was able to tie it back up after that.

Also, I hate my pipsqueak RB.

This is by far the most frustrating year. I cant get a grasp on this years game. I throw interceptions on every series and can't run. Then my defense wont tackle. I got beat 73-13 by colorado.

I got a 1* FB in my offline dynasty. He came in as an OVR 76.

It looks like we're waiting on the Piney/BN game, along with Bluffton's and DA's games. Bluffton was out of town but should have his game in tonight or tomorrow. DA's up to his neck in no sleep, diapers, and probably a pissed off Mrs. DA. I'd like to advance soon, but I don't want to sim the user v. user game. DA already gave me the go-ahead to not wait on him, so I'll advance once these last two games are played.

Thank you, superhuman secondary. I had 4, count 'em FOUR TD catches dropped by my recievers after making a catch, taking a step, then having a defender bump into them, resulting in a "drop."

Its completely fucked, this game has way, waaayyy too many drops. Same thing happened in my User V User game with MD. He had at least 3 or 4 sure catches that they decided to call "drops." Fuck that.

That isn't even mentioning 55 rated OVR fullbacks coming in, making a grab AS I USE THE HIT STICK and holding on. But hey, it's WussCuntsin. One of the greatest teams evah!!!11!1!!

It's like, Jesus, pays to be a big school because this fucking game does them a ton of favors.

well.....I'm completely lost on offense. I'm so afraid of throwing the ball and having it be picked off that I all but give up on the passing game.

either Piney's kicker sucks or the lag really fucked him up, because he had 2 late FGs that would have tied it fall short. The first was 45 or so.....so it's possible his kicker just didn't have the leg for it. I think the 2nd was closer and it looked like it fell even shorter. I dunno.........we both suck.


btw, there's no way my RB went out of bounds towards the end. that almost sucked.

Just played my week 5 game and beat Houston 31-13. I swear....I don't think I've played a game yet in anything but the rain lol.

My kicker should be good enough... BUT, the lag killed me as those kicks were about 75% power each. I thought I was able to adjust on the 2nd one and then the lag wasn't as bad... son of a b.... But I also think the rain had something to do with it.

But good game... both offenses sucked, but BN made the two big plays on defense that gave him the short field to score his 10 pts. Still pissed about you blocking the pitch on the option play.

That's one nice thing about no more suction cup defense. I didn't automatically get sucked in to your QB while you made some impossible perfect pitch to a wide open RB.

Gawd that pissed me off, I had 2-3 guys bounce off you trying to make tackles that let you rumble another 20 yards.

On a side note... I loved how I played Tressel-ball for most of the 1st half, punting you inside the 10 yard line. Particularly loved how that one ball bounced out at the 1 inch line.

Yeah, you made the fatal mistake of switching to control the CB covering the WR to try to make the pick. Then it was a 40 yard dash to the endzone.

But it was a good game... really felt like a real game.

Now I am done with my gauntlet of playing 3 human opponents while learning to play the game. Hopefully I can iron out my kinks playing against the CPU. I think I am almost there... as I am starting to get a slight feel for the passing game. It also helps I benched Phil Bates (my option QB) and put in my passing QB.
