Figured I lost out on that OLB when I couldn't get an instant phone commit after giving me a soft verbal. I assumed you would get him after the visit.

But the previous week I signed a STUD OLB that was higher ranked than him, so takes the sting out of losing him to you.

Now that 4* DE... that's a different story!!! :pissed:

The best part of week 4, for me, was picking up 2 Texas kids, and giving me my third new pipeline this year. That brings me up to 8(Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Texas, and Ohio). Now, I just need to work on Louisiana and Virginia, and my collection will be near the max that I can maintain. I could probably stand to lose SC, and not pursue Virginia in favor of Tennessee and California, but we'll see what cuts, and next season brings before I make that decision.

In this offseason, I traded SC pipeline for NC, Texas, and Alabama. I have 8 like you IBI (TN, FL, MS, GA, CA, TX, NC, and AL). I got the 5* QB and 4* DE in Week 4 and moved into #1 in overall Recruiting. But I would imagine if Shehad gets a couple of 3-4* he'll jump me in week 5.

Overall, I'm happy with my haul. At each position I have the following ranked players:

QB - 1 & 2
WR - 4 & 27
T - 2 & 4
G - 15
C - 1
DE - 4, 20, 21, & 14
DT - 1, 13 & 27
OLB - 21
MLB - 2 & 12
CB - 5
SS - 4
K - 3 & 4 (One will be a P)
ATH - 3

I don't know that I have any impact players in the first year, maybe the WR and the DT (Barksdale).

Hmmm, only 22 recruits, but I also got 3 transfers/mercenaries. All of them are RS Juniors, so I'll only have one year of procutivity out of them, but, at least, I'll get two more years of progression. 79 OVR WR, Marvin Shinn from Alabama; 79 OVR, TE Jeff Heuerman from Ohio State, and 79 OVR, DL Jalen Grimble from Da U.

I never noticed that bringing in transfers would reduce the number of recruits that you could bring in. I guess it could be a coincidence that it worked out that way, but I had a lot of players that had me #1 on their boards, that didn't end up with Georgia Tech. So it seems unlikely that the numbers worked out the way they did (22 recruits + 3 transfers = 25 new players).

UW is stacked this year.

I have one guy over 90 and he's a kicker. The rest of us are all pretty heavy in Mid-high 80's guys. Last year was my chance; I am starting FR or SO at QB, LT, LG, RG, RT, RE, DT (all 5 guys are FR or SO), MLB, ROLB, 1 CB, SS, and P. The nice thing is I only have 5 SR total on my roster.

Conference Realignment:

Syracuse moves from the Big East to the ACC Atlantic
Pitt moves from the Big East to the ACC Coastal
Temple moves from the MAC to the Big East

I'll try again to fix the Big XII's in-conference scheduling, but no promises.

Advanced to the pre-season. I'll post schedules ASAP. I'm looking at advancing to the regular season by Monday night. DTC's still in the league but won't be back until next weekend. I'll try not to schedule any user v. user games with him in the first couple weeks, but I'm not going to lose any hair over it. If I have to schedule it, he'll be put on auto. Also, Kris will be getting user v. user games.
