The TD you scored was on my CB that locked everyone down and the Safety that is an AA, I was so surprised that play burnt me. The ensuing drive I was going to run the clock out but then decided to try for one big play and see what happened. Unfortunately that big play was an INT for you.

Your backup has the same last name? I saw a "Logan" out for game and decided to lay off on the run and then I saw a Logan still at RB and thought it was someone else that got hurt. Played like him... or like I said, I just suck.

Well, that WR that burnt him was my All-American WR. And for once my QB threw it right versus throwing it short where it would have been intercepted (he was all over mis-firing on a few throws that pissed me off). He has been AWESOME for me this season getting open on a regular basis.

Yeah, after that INT I had visions of scoring a TD and then getting the ball to start the 2nd half I thought I had a chance of pulling within 7 and having a chance in the game. Then had to settle for a FG and then I just couldn't get anything going in the 2nd half :(

Neal is my starter, Lane is backup, and Logan is my FR 3rd string tailback. He is the one that broke the 40 yd TD on 4th and inches when you guessed the wrong way.

Neal... Logan... Lane... whoever it was, I still sucked.

And that 40 yard run CRUSHED me. I tried to defend the weakside myself but got blocked and then the little white guy outran my defense... damn my team sucks!

Damn... that was simmed? VERY lucky there Olaf... hmmmm, seems FISHY! LOL

And #2 is correct as you had to be #2 in the BCS. The Weekly reports give the Media Poll rankings, but they tend to be different that the BCS rankings. In the other Dynasty while my Texas St team is ranked 10th, and Fanatic's is 11th, it is swapped in the BCS rankings.

:lol: I read this too fast and thought that shehade and I had to play again in the bowl game.

25-0 looks bad, but that's only because it was. shehade and I had what could only be classified as another defensive battle/battle of inept offenses. The very first play of the game, I ran a speed option and had, at least, a 20 yard gain. But I screwed up the pitch relationship with my back, and instead of being off to the races, I pitched the ball out of bounds for no gain. I took advantage of shehade's over aggressive defense at times, but his fucking defense is so fast that I wasn't able to actually break anything. We went back and forth a couple of times. I get a pick, a long gain, and then get stuck with a 4th and 2 or 3 from midfield. I'm stopping him on defense, so I always play the field position game. Late in the first half, with Clemson up 3-0, I throw a pick that still has me pissed. It's a double post from the trips set, the safety is shading toward the outside receiver, I throw it to the slot receiver, shehade takes control of the safety, passes through the back and out the front of my receiver for the pick (I re-watched this play about a half dozen times, and that's exactly what happened). Shehade drives close, but I stuff him, and he ends up with another FG, 6-0 Clemson. Next possession, I throw what I think is another miraculous pick where the LB picks the ball off of his ankles (that is not what happened...I re-watched this play several times too, and I just under-threw it...should have been a long gain...possibly a TD). Shehade returns the favor, and throw his second pick. I now have ~ one minute to get a score before half, and get the ball back to start the second half. My QB can't seem to do anything right now, and I'm lucky (or so I think) that I don't throw another pick to set up a score. I end up punting. shehade gets a first down (or two?) and then I stop him on a couple of deep balls. There's now only 2 seconds left, and he's about a mile from the endzone. So, of course, the prevent does exactly what it's supposed to do...bat the ball into a trailing receivers hands for a TD!!! Fuck me!! Clemson is up 13-0 at the half. After the two picks and the hail mary, I can't seem to form a coherent thought. I am pretty much randomly throwing plays together rather than trying to counter what he's doing on defense. My defense is still managing a successful "bend but don't break" scheme, but they're getting very tired. Another FG, a TD run where my defense looked like they just couldn't move anymore, and a safety where I am mindlessly mashing a button that isn't tied to a receiver later, and that is how we get to 25-0.

GG smooth. I froze watching 88 prepare to catch your player of the game. Did you?

Heartbreaking loss and my All World CB that hadn't been beaten once all season, gets toasted against Piney and twice against you.

No, it didn't freeze. That WR was the Player of the Game. And what a fucking game. My QB finally lived up to his ratings. He missed everybody our first game. This time he was on the money. I thought your guy caught that 4th and Game for the TD. I let out a nice, "Son of a BitYEEESSS!"

Those are the games that make this game worth $60 despite EA's ineptitude. I thought the catch to get to the 1 YD line was in. Then the third down that you guessed right, when you got the offside penalty I was running a counter the other direction. Then 4th down my WR was open out of the break, throw was on the money; but it wasn't meant to be.
