NCAA 12 (PS3) 4th Annual Online Dynasty Thread

IBI, when is good for you?

Today or tomorrow is best. Otherwise I'm traveling all week. I can take my PS3 but I would rather not rely on hotel internet for a user game.
Tomorrow night, anytime after 6PM, will work best. If someone pulls away from the field in the U.S. Open I could go tonight, but I don't really see that happening.

I won't be available tonight. Tuesday night will be the earliest I can go.

Cool, cuz tonight I won't be available either, so Tuesday night it is. Shoot for 8:30pm?

While I doubt I will win, a win by me sets up a defacto Conference Championship game in Week 15 with me versus Fanatic, so smooth, if ya feel like helping out and let me win, it would be much appreciated

Of course I am more likely to beat fanatic if I lose to Olaf as fanatic will have nothing to play for

IBI has a few words to say about how the SEC will end up...

IBI is up 17-10 to start the second half; he has a very nice game going and wouldn't you know. EA does what EA always does.

GG IBI, he won 20-17. A very clean game until the final 2 minutes for me. I took the lead 10-6 w/ 2 minutes to go and kickoff to IBI. He runs a screen towards a CB that was supposed to be in a zone, but decided to either blitz or move his zone so far upfield he was useless and 78 yards later and a terrible pursuit angle by me, TD and he is up 13-10. No major problem, as I get the ball and plenty of time to drive for the tie or win.

Well, maybe; I have my WR open down the sideline between the zone but I throw to my slot receiver who was on an out route right into his squatting CB. Pick 6 GT and he is now up 10. I score a TD to pull within 20-17 with 20ish seconds left. Kick the onside 10 yards past where I should have. That's all she wrote.

No undefeated season for me and now we have a nice little mess. Unfortunately I likely will fall behind both Piney/Smooth winner and Shehad in the rankings before my matchup with Piney.

Yep, good game. Even if it was the third time we tried to play. :smash:

The first time we tried to play the game was, apparently, going to be played in a blizzard...in Knoxville, TN. We decided not to do that, and restarted the game.

First drive of the first half, and I'm able to score a TD, and all I'm thinking is, I've scored first in both of my NCAA12 blowout losses to fanatic. It didn't turn out the same way though. I had a 17-10 lead going into the half. Then, the first play from scrimmage in the second half, and the game locks up on us.

Defensive struggle for most or the restarted first half, and I was only able to take a 6-0 lead into the half this time. I slice on FG attempt wide right, then fanatic drives down to kick a FG of his own. 6-3 Ga Tech. I then miss another long FG attempt by coming up short. I'm still thinking that I can hold fanatic and try again. Nope. fanatic gets his TD and everything else was already covered by fanatic.

As for the pick 6, I was in a Tampa 2 type of D. I thought you were going to try the WR screen, so I left both corners in the flats, but wanted to make sure that I had all three safeties deep just in case you got aggressive.

Still, if a miracle happens and I beat Olaf, then the SEC will still come down to a game between you and me

Now when I lose to Olaf, I still have a chance if Iron can beat Olaf. Then we can have a huge cluster fuck of a conference standings. But I prefer to think of the possibilities of me beating Olaf by a miracle

FYI - GREAT JOB IRON!!!

Good game, Piney. This was one of those games where everything went right for me and everything went wrong for him. The game can be summed up by two back to back plays. In the first one, Piney threw the ball to his RB who was open and the ball just bounced off his facemask. The very next play, Piney threw it to an open receiver for a first down and the ball once again just bounced off the dude's facemask. Neither of them even lifted their arms to catch the ball.

We're just waiting on MD to get his game in.

Yeah, those two plays kinda summarized my offense. My starting redshirt frosh QB just could do nothing right. Squiggly lines every play, passes bouncing off open WRs heads and then the just outright overthrowing players. I mean one play had a corner route WIDE open, stopped my QB and threw it like Joe Bauserman into the stands... really?

Before half I swapped in my Junior QB and at least the squiggly lines stopped, but the bad passes continued (there's a reason he isn't starting) Of course I made some stupid throws that got picked off, at least I spread the wealth as my 3 QBs all threw INTs

At least halfway through the 3rd quarter/4th quarter I got to work on some things I want to do on offense and realized I need to still do alot more to practice on that side of the ball.

And really... the passes were there. A couple times I did complete passes I just ended up a yard short of converting critical 3rd downs. Just frustrating, and also I am really starting to feel the loss of my two stud DEs, especially my all world DE that just crushes the pocket every play. I just hope they will be back before I play fanatic.

Otherwise Olaf did what Olaf always does and crush me, I just wish I gave him a tougher game.
