NBC4 tells it like it is

I think we need to look at what NC State did last saturday before we hit the panic button on this offense.

Va. Tech vs. NC State
first downs 11
total yards 114
pass. comp. 11
pass att. 26
pass yrds. 157
pass avg. 6.0
rush att. 43
rush yrds. 35
rush avg. 0.8

tOSU vs. NC State
first downs 11
total yards 137
pass comp. 10
pass att. 21
pass yrds. 73
pass avg. 3.2
rush att. 40
rush yrds. 64
rush avg. 1.6

It looks to me like we played one of the best defenses in the country. However, if we don't look good after Northwestern, it's panic time.

With Joe and Pittman back in the mix I expect a better rushing attack. No matter how good a running back is, he can't take every single carry of the game. It will do Lydell some good to get a breather here and there. This game is the first time our entire offense is in tact. I also look for Ginn to make an impact in this game.

I still think that if they kick it off to Hall they should fake a reverse to Ginn. I think that would give Hall some daylight up the sideline. Teams are taking notice when Ginn steps on the field. Marshall was giving him a huge cushion.

At this level of despair

I would even settle for getting to see Roshawn Parker get a few totes. I realize that the possibility of B Joe getting a few carries from the single back set is a crazed school boy fantasy.:(
