Rob Manfred says he will step down as MLB commissioner in 2029

Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred told reporters Thursday that this will be his final term in office and he will retire when it expires in January 2029.

Manfred, 65, replaced Bud Selig as commissioner in January 2015 and has since been given two five-year terms. The owners voted in July to give him a third term.
This really will rock the NBA when it happens 8D

I think it's probably 50/50 everywhere with people wanting the Nuggets to win vs those that are Denver fatigued.

I love this series and I hope it goes the distance
Maybe true of fans, but the networks, most especially the mouse, want the Lakers to advance. Maybe mostly because of Lebron, but generally the teams from the east and west coasts get slobbering support from the broadcasters, and flyover country doesn't matter.

LeBron James blasts officiating, replay center after Lakers' collapse, also calls out refs from different game

LeBron James had a lot to say about the officiating crew after the Lakers' 101-99 loss to the Nuggets Monday night in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series. It was a game that looked like the Lakers were on pace to win, with dominating performances from Anthony Davis and D'Angelo Russell. But over the final five minutes of the game, Denver came alive, chipped away at what was once a 20-point L.A. lead, and eventually won the game on a Jamal Murray mid-range buzzer-beating jumper.
