Navy misses a 21 yard FG.![]()
Jake;1784170; said:Yeah, I noticed the red on the uniforms but the helmets are really wacked out. If they wanted to wear RWB today I'd rather have seen them use the helmets they wore on 9/11 - the lightning bolt was RWB that day. Those looked good.
These ones look like someone fired tomatoes at them.
Thanks for the explanation, although I think I'd rather see them play in NOMEX flight suits.SEREbuckeye;1784194; said:Guys, the helmets are a tribute to one of our strongest traditions - Air Force Thunderbirds.
In the USAF, we love flight and we cherish our stunt pilots that put on great shows. This is our way of showing love to them.
Look at the student section for this game you will see a lot of flight suits. Since the team can't play in a NOMEX flight suit, we modified our helmet paint scheme to match that of our AF T-Birds.

. Well he didn't have his so he got upset saying that its just an AF thing and he wasn't going to buy a round of beers. Then we went into banter about the game, friendly of course. As but we both stood tall about who would win Zoomies or the Shit-I mean Shipmen.MaxBuck;1784230; said:I'm so glad we have brave young men in the USN and USAF protecting our freedom. We all owe the armed services a debt of gratitude for their bravery, self-sacrifice and discipline. Our service academies are a critical part of the development of defense leadership that will be paramount in our nation's future.
With all this being said, my interest in this game is pretty much in whale-shit territory.

Everything was going swell until I mentioned that I am in the AF and in San Antone for flight training. He showed me his DOD ID, he is Navy. Well, I just happened to have my Squadron coin on me, so I threw it down. Well he didn't have his so he got upset saying that its just an AF thing and he wasn't going to buy a round of beers. Well, apparently the Air Force is flying high today! Go Falcons!
